Platano frito with crema. No joke. I had a craving and since it's all carbs and sugar that's enough for me tonight. Tomorrow I'll make roast chicken and asparagus finished off with a drizzle of black truffle oil, splash of lemon juice, and freshly cracked black pepper and a pinch of salt. Cooking for one sucks.

Being of British descent, I call it creme anglaise. If given the time to plan ahead, I find pineapple creme anglaise seems to be a favourite, among the ladies.
