You will find many girls seeing foreigners are actually Chinese or Korean that have learned some basic Japanese.
I know lots of girls that have worked there. Most Japanese girls don't do foreigners (not considered appropriate), so they often use fakes instead specifically for the foreigner market. That's how you get girls in Vancouver pretending to be Japanese and knowing a few words, they have worked there before.
I've never been there myself, but this is coming from the girls who have worked in Japan.
Kind of hilarious really, Chinese guy from china goes to Japan to meet some Japanese girls, gets a Chinese girl pretending to be Japanese and probably doesn't notice.
When it comes to local, most of what you guys claim is Japanese, I can surely tell you isn't. One "Japanese" girl recently asked to be listed with us and ended up actually being Korean. If there is a market for something, girls will try to exploit it for additional clients. That's the nature of the beast unfortunately. I've never met a real Japanese girl working in Vancouver, ever. Some can be reasonably convincing though. August also could flip a Japanese switch with enough Japanese vocabulary and anime noises to get a passing grade.

Google smooci. Probably going to be a lot of non Japanese but it’s like eBay meets Uber for escorts.
Heading there myself. I have stayed in contact with one girl that worked here for a week. But would love to know more about the tokyo options. Can you PM me as well jackity?
I find this information very interesting seeing as I went to Japan a few months back and actually went to a soapland 3 times while there I could definitely buy 2 of the girls I saw possibly being Chinese or Korean since I didn't make an effort to test the limits of my Japanese while conversing with them, one being fluent in English. But the third one I think is less likely since I spent a decent amount of time conversing with her(also fluent in English) she said she was half Japanese and half somethings else I can't recall. Though you could say I'm just choosing to believe they were Japanese which I think is fair.
But I also don't 100% buy the "there are no Japanese in Vancouver or otherwise who will service foreigners at all" mindset I have seen sifting through the forums for Japanese girls. Especially since recently I did challenge my Japanese speaking ability with a girl "claiming" to be Japanese with Ruby who was only her for a week this month. Now while I will admit my Japanese isn't amazing(imo, she thought I was really good) with Ruby's level of English I was able to meet her half way and had a legitimate conversation with her in which I could tell she was at least fluent at Japanese and most likely lives in Japan. Not to mention when I inquired about anyone else speaking with her in Japanese while she was in Vancouver she said just some really basic stuff from Chinese people and even made a joke about speaking Chinese and just said "ni hao". But hey if believing that Japanese people serving foreigners are unicorns makes you happy I think that's fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
