I understand Sheik so much better now. He had a firm policy of the mods decision was final, any debate and you were banned. Period.
I have always allowed polite discussion of decisions and I had thought that this would be appreciated; perhaps that was wrong because it has lead to comments such as
'Banning Audrey is pure udder BULLSHIT. I would hope there would be a fucking review on this one MODS,,,,,,what a fucking joke'
Stryker, in the past I have received several requests to ban you; I have not as your comments were always borderline, you have complained about this Gina situation several times, and I let this pass as well, I have given you plenty of room, but this time you went too far in your comments above.
Previous mods would routinely delete any thread that made a disparaging comment about them, I am very reluctant to delete threads and tend to prefer to edit them, or to lock them down; this too may have been an error, but nonetheless, for now, I will continue with this and let this thread stand, albeit locked. I would hope that this too is appreciated, but I suspect my hope here is in vain.
Harvi, I am disappointed. I have assisted you with issues in the past, and certainly would not have expected such unprofessional comments from you as
'What detirmens the difference between a 2 week, or one month ban? Is it based on how good the MOD got blown that day? or how big the hemoroide is on his ass'
As you have seen, paid advertisers are not immune from bans. It doesn't matter how long you have been in red, nor how much you have paid over time. Sorry Harvi, there are no special rules for paid advertisers, the same rules apply throughout. I have now banned 3 paid advertisers in short order.
Fortunately for both of you I also tend to be more lenient in banning when I have been the one abused and insulted as opposed to another PERB member, so you bans might be less than what you would expect.
The only comment I will make regarding Audrey is that she was heading for only a 2 week ban, until she chose to re-engage the cat fight by continuing the debate on one of Gina's advertising threads. That got her the extra 2 weeks.
To the white knights, both ladies are at fault, Audrey is just more subtle in her ways compared to Gina who lays it all out.
