He's a big time attention whore who's not getting his own way with Parcells in charge. Listening to the goofs on 1040 this morning it was all "this is a cry for help!", "show some compassion, the guy's down"....blah, blah, blah. What a fucking soap opera. Owens achieved EXACTLY what he wanted to and that was to be bigger than the team, for a day, at a time when the coach hasn't been letting him do so.
i am no way a fan of TO but, i believe what he said when he told the reporters it was not a suicide attempt. if you can say one thing about him is that he is a competitor and i there is no way he take the easy route out and commit suicide. this is just a case of the media trying to grab ratings by coming taking the most unlikely event and covering like its fact. mass media= massively stupid media
If Bill Parcells can't "break" TO, then no one can. I'm sure other coaches in the league are watching this clash of gargantuan egos and making bets on who will emerge victorious. The ones who have coached TO are probably putting their money on the wide receiver from hell. Those who haven't coached him likely think he's met his match in Parcells. Should be interesting to see who's left standing and who's thrown in the towel by the end of the season.
If I had to make a bet, I think it would be that Parcells will eventually approach Jerry Jones (Cowboys owner/GM) and say "get that asshole out of here and do it NOW!".

All he/TO wants is more media attention . I really cannot stand this guy. My opinion he is over-rated and oversized ego . There are plenty of great running backs in the NFL with more tallent than TO .
