Maybe I am old fashioned but I tip unless the service is really bad. To me its the journey not the destination, if the journey was really enjoyable then I tip. Tip can take the form of a gift card (Victoria's Secret, La Sensa or other) or cash, or both. The amount should be commensurate with your enjoyment. Obviously if service is really bad - no tip. It really is up to you.

I tip If they do a great job and I want to visit again. And tip well. It's good if you want a regular.

I (almost) never tip. The only time I have tipped is if, in the heat of the moment, I have gotten more "service" than we agreed upon up front. Like going for a straight massage and she decides to suck my dick. In rare cases, when a massage has turned into FS.

I have my favourites and I'm a loyal, repeat customer. I pay for the service and keep coming back and the providers seem to appreciate that since they never turn me away and with my regulars, the service keeps getting better.

There are women in this town who have THOUSANDS of my dollars.

I tip modestly. If an unexpected good thing occurs during the session, I may tip a little more. I rarely do not tip at all...it would have to be pretty bad service. What gets me though is that some providers actually complain if you don't tip them "enough". I usually don't see these people again. Even some legit places do it (Half Moon, looking at you).

This pretty much is me as well, that is I tip occasionally, it's pretty rare though (I think in all the years I've been doing this, maybe 2-3 times?), but there are some girls I've seen *a lot* of and given them money that totals into the 4 digits.

Thinking over the years the girls I've tipped are definitely ones who I've been regulars of, and I can't think of a time when I tipped a SP on my first session with them (even if that session was truly amazing). I have done "bonuses" in a sense, where after seeing a SP a number of times given a little extra as an one-off bonus (ex: last Christmas I saw Danica Summers close to the holiday and gave her a little extra on that last visit before December 25th as a sort of Christmas present/recognition of how great our sessions had been in the months leading up to that day). I've done small gifts a few times as a bonus as well (ex: wine, or something that I thought would have personal meaning to them). There's been quite a few times when I didn't have exact change so overpaid slightly (ex: if the girl charges $190, and I have four $50 bills), but that's not really the same thing as tipping.

I'm kinda curious: for those who do tip, how much (either $ amount or % amount) do you generally tip? I've gone as high as 40% in one (very rare & truly exceptional) instance, but generally the times I've done it it's been ~10-15% (usually like an extra green on a half hour session).

It has been my experience that when a gentleman visits the first time(fs) they almost always tip! But on subsequent visits it doesn’t take place. For massage, it almost never takes place. Which I prefer to be honest. I actually feel uncomfortable with being tipped. Because I thoroughly enjoy what I’m doing, and I wasn’t going above and beyond. That’s just the level of service. So it isn’t necessary to tip.

What I prefer and find most common is repeat clients. A good 90% of the people I see are repeat offenders( who also spoil me rotten in other ways) Some from as far back as my first week in the industry. Which speaks volumes over being left a tip, and more flattering.

This topic was recently discussed on another thread where it was mentioned that originally tips meant “to insure prompt service“.
I spent some time thinking about it and thought I’d try an experiment. I replaced the word “prompt“ with the word good. When i think of someone tipping in a restaurant before the meal like a wine dude or the person that seats you, you do it for a reason. You want good service. I don’t do it but then I don’t go to those places often. I did however start a recent session including the tip going in. If you read my last review you will see that it worked out quite well. I don’t know if the tip elevated the service or the service was just that soooo fucking good. I’m just happy I did and will continue to do so.

... thinking about this some more.

Recalling a session I had with an MP years ago. We agreed on time and price (I had seen her multiple time before) and got to business. She gave an excellent session and, as it turns out, we went over our time. I wasn't paying attention, got dressed and left.

After, she ghosted me. Wouldn't return texts when I sought service. I finally got out of her that she felt I had taken advantage of her generosity with her time and service. I convinced her to see me again and the next time I made it right $. I was happy she told me, but wish she had mentioned it in the moment when it happened.

Tipping originates in the restaurant service industry, where waiters and bus boys make less than minimum wage ($10-$15/hr). They need the tips to make a living, and the restaurant owners know they get tips so they can pay them poorly.

At $200 /hr (now rare) to $300/hr (now unfortunately common) the concept of tipping is ludicrous.

I am with Naughty Knickers: what the girls want most is stable, interesting and FUN repeat clients who enjoy being pleasured by them. That’s ME! They feel good, but much more importantly, I feel really really good! And without tipping.

The service you get doesn't depend on how much you pay a girl. Unless you haggle with them, a good SP will give you good service without having to pay more than their asking price. No mater how much you tip, a subpar sp will still provide subpar service. Worse, it's the bad sp's that are more likely to try to squeeze the most money out of you. They do one up sell after another, promising the service will actually improve if you just fork out a little more, but don't deliver. Loyal repeat clients is not their business model. I don't feel compelled to tip. As AlbertaBill pointed out, they are already getting paid 20x minimum wage.

I suggest you unlearn some of what you learned. It seems manipulating and maybe it's just me but telling someone that you will, "most likely give extra" for service excellence, seems off.

And yet there is at least one member here that suggests for poor service , 10 percent tip is not enough.

Probably depends if the lawyer wins. 😉
The lawyer always wins. Despite have a clear cut case, the lawyers fee could easily add up to you winnings or more. Vancouver lawyers are up to 400 to 500 Per hour. I had one that did not respond to 3 calls and 3 emails over a 2 week period. The result? He billed me for listening to each voice mail and reading the emails. Billing was at min 15 mins each. Each voice and email merely stated “ I have not heard for you for awhile, can I please get an update “ No reply…but yay! 15 mins billed . Let’s do that 6 more times and make a free 6 hrs labour . So who won? The lawyer did. Would I tip him ? No .

I just go to massage places. I dont tip as their prices are usually stated for massage and up charge for any extras which is usually their tip for touching my tip. Some places post 120/hour tip included. For people working in restaurants will depend on tips to make a decent wage. What we pay for massage and extra during an hour session is more than a person in restaurant makes in a shift at times. I've repeated with women a lot and never had a complaint as I've spent a lot of money and walked out with really good service and more than others got.
