You have to wonder what management there is thinking. Let your new girls make a name for themselves. Don't saddle them with having to compete with the reputations of some of the true greats in this business by having them rip off their names.

i dont think the management at outhouse will stop. i am just waiting for them to get one of there girls to use a specific name that no one should dare use. then i think i may have some comments for them that will more than likely get me banned.

It is common in Toronto (majority mp/agency) to post a review that states Name@Agency. Helps avoid confusion for who was seen and where she was seen. If the sp is indy, alot of reviewers just say Name@Indy.

Good or bad review, the reviewer is the one who is either going to help clear up the confusion or add to it depending on what they post.

On the topic, it is a sign of laziness for anyone to come up with a name and not first do a search on the name to make sure it is either not overused, or used by someone no one would want to be mistaken for, or make sure it is not used by someone too similar in looks. There are only a certain # of names before you end up recycling them lol.

The Rebecca at Penthouse hasn't ripped off anybody's handle.

She is Rebecca Taylor and has always used that name.

If I'm not mistaken she started out at Penthouse a long time ago. Didn't do the MP scene very long because she went indy and was a travelling escort. Perhaps she even retired for a bit.

Now it appears as though she is back on the schedule at Penthouse.

I am both surprised and excited to see her back.

I had about 5 minutes to choose a name to use the day I got hired. The name that ended up getting settled on was Jessica. I didn't give a moments thought as to whether or not there might be another Jessica in the industry. I don't think it would be possible to have 100% unique names for every girl who tested the industry waters. The city of Edmonton issues approximately 600 licenses each year to MP ladies alone ...600 different names? Many (most) of these ladies don't stay in the business long but some do ...I did, and I had no idea that I might be infringing on a reputation with simply a choice of name.

Adding PRabbit to follow Jessica started about a year ago, not because I wanted singular identity from any other Jessica but because many of my clients had told me I f*ck like a rabbit. JessicaRabbit, to my knowledge was Roger Rabbits wife in the movie. A tall, long legged, big booty'd, big breasted, cartoon with long red hair down to her waistline. HA. That was NOTHING like me physically so it seemed a bit of a funny, a play, a spin on things ...

As it turns out I not only hijacked the name of a cartoon character but there is (was?) in fact a lady working in Winnipeg for several years who went by the name of JessicaRabbit. I only found that out a few months ago and let me tell you ...I had the wrath of a number of locals in Winnipeg fall upon me for a period of time as I tried to gain understanding that I honestly had zero knowledge that a popular SP had donned that very name. Luckily for me I added the initial P to the middle of the name creating a slight difference but still ...As unique as I thought I was being, I still stepped on someone's toes.

From my own experience I'd say a 100% unique name regardless of one or two parts to the name is still likely to fall into a position where it is reused at some time, unintentionally or not.

Anyway....you've worked at Platinum Club before it was sold to Alyson. The previous owner you worked for, Maylee, also operates 50th St and Legends, so I'm sure you're familiar with her management style. Although reading your post in your other thread, I think you've chosen the latter of the two places!

Beyond Paradise is owned by Brooke who used to work at cloud nine and manhattens club. Both on the west side of edmonton. She is a really cool lady and very caring. I think you would get along with her great Gabrielle. BTW you can't retire I need to see you for another session....lol
