I was watching an episode of Taxicab Confessions last night. There was a couple of girls in 1 episode that talked about "Donkey Shows" in Tijuana. Their boyfriends took them to see these shows. Anyone ever been down there to see them?

I was watching an episode of Taxicab Confessions last night. There was a couple of girls in 1 episode that talked about "Donkey Shows" in Tijuana. Their boyfriends took them to see these shows. Anyone ever been down there to see them?
The site is dead on but Adelita is way better than Chicago. Also, walking back through the US border you may come across a wave of drunken 18-20 year old girls....it's all fun if you have a second shot left!

I grew up in San Diego and having been going to carouse in TJ since I was 15. There used to be shady hawkers standing on the corners of Revolucion (main drag) and baiting you to see the donkey shows. Of course, they wanted to lead you several blocks off the drag into some dark alleys, so it always appeared to be a good way to get scammed, mugged and/or killed. None of my friends have ever made it to see one of these shows (I would not want to even if I was guaranteed my safety), nor have I even heard of anyone who could vouch for their valid existence...

Had that happen a few times too...you really have to watch it, especially when you've been drinking and your curiosity can get the best of you.

It was shortly after that, I discovered ASP Tijuana, and a board called Redsnake dedicated to the Tijuana SP scene. Tania, it seems, was legendary and although I didn't know it at the time, she certainly became legendary in my books.

Never saw Tania but plenty of the same calibre or better, believe it or not. First time I walked in to Adelita, one word, AMAZING. Anything you could want looks, age, shape, or size wise. Even some girls from the States down making a quick buck. Funny that every time I've been there I've felt a sense or aura of evil. It might have been partly influenced by the DJ yelling about the "gringos" coming down to fuck their women but spidy senses were constantly in play. Hard to really put it into words...
There is definately an edgy feeling to the experience, but it's no worse than some areas of LA or San Diego. You do need to keep your head clear and your wits about you.The Lizard King said:
