No matter what, PGA would love to have Tiger come back to his dominating status to boost tv ratings. When Tiger plays well, more people watch!

Ya, but why ? I can understand golf as a sport for the individual, but I could never understand it as a spectator sport. If I had to watch it, I'd die of boredom.

It's no UFC but I really enjoy being at a PGA event live.....good times!
Beats being there dead, I would think...................Spent some time at the Canadian open thing recently, couldn't see the appeal even being paid to be there.

Funny. I feel the same way about hockey. You also think that?

Basically...................yes. Had free access to the Stanley Cup game, left halfway through it. Haven't watched more then half a dozen games in the past two or three years.

There are basically two types of sports. In the first type you have ritual combat, in which two "armies" or two "champions" essentially slug it out. I tend to find those as about as interesting as a trip to the dentist. The other type is essentially an individual challenging themselves to find perfect form, and the competition is to find who has the most perfect form.

From a spectator's point of view, you will like one of the following:
1) watching people slug it out.
2) watching people achieve perfection.
3) watching nothing, and doing it yourself.

Whatever of those 3 options floats your boat is going to be what you do.

I prefer option 3....last night I did not watch poker being played on TV I played poker with a bunch of pooner friends.....and I won.

Today I did not watch golf on TV I played golf with 1 of my guests from the poker game.....and I lost....but I did have fun and it was a beautifull day to be on the golf course.

He looked good so far. I wonder whether he can finish strong. Do you think what his former caddy, Steve Williams, said motivated him little?

I agree. He is still young and can many more tournaments.
Well Tiger is looking good in his tourney this week....up 3 strokes going into the weekend. His game is starting to come around without a doubt. He's healthy, swing change is almost complete and all the divorce is behind him. just to be a good father, play golf and bang lots of hotties!!
