The question is: how to approach getting a SP for you and the wife?

Good advice, Veronica. I'd also suggest you ensure that it isn't an SP that you have been individually entertained by in the past. The playmate should be someone unknown to both of you (ensures your SO has one less thing to worry about during the interlude).
