No it's more that men have been breed from the day they are born that they are the disposable sex. Too bad women in the NW dont appreciate men more.

I rather agree that such a display of altruism should be commended in whomever it appears, rather than expected of men. These were amazing sacrifices by some amazing humans.

I don't think it was expected of them, I think they did it out of instict for the women they loved.

But you are 100% correct when you say..."These were amazing sacrifices by some amazing humans". Truer words could not be spoken.

I do agree with you, Hunka, I just wanted to respond to InnocentBoy's comment. I don't have time to search through the reports, but I'm sure there were parents of either sex protecting their children, some children bravely protecting others, etc. Heroism has no age or sex.
