In a way, I can sympathize with his frustrations but don't agree with the way he took it on his wife, over a stupid bunch of overpaid hockey players, in the whole scheme of things. that San Jose game was a joke, and for some to even say the Nucks took one of the best teams to the last-minute of almost winning it--dudes, they only managed what, 12, 13 shots on the Sharks ALL GAME??? We're supposed to get excited over that??

But in the first place, he never should've been suckered into believing this was anywhere close to a good team. His ranting has been quite the joke among the talk shows, and just shows the bandwagon nature common in this city. I only envy the winning history that the Edmontons, Montreals, Detroits, & even those terrible Leafs, they still cheer for them, and look how bad they've sucked over the years.

and once this team even wins 2 games in a row, sometime in the next month by fluke, watch this city jump on the bandwagon...even Richard!

I'm with LB but I stopped in 97 the year they brought in Old man Messier and Mike 'I hate their current captain' Keenan.
Besides they're are over priced. 18,000 plus seat and about 18,000 plus prices, pay-per-view games and premium games prices. Forget it.

The only times I've been inside GM Place are for the Open House, about 2 or 3 Grizzlies games, a Metallica concert and about 3 visits to the then Winning Spirit store.

Yup, it's only in this senseless city of delirious fans that they expect the messiah like Messier, Sundin, to rescue them, and lead them to the promise land...

No other teams do this generally, well, maybe the Sharks when they got Thornton (but at least they traded for him, as opposed to a free agent signing), but these canuckleheads/management have got to learn, is BUILD and DRAFT better.
