very cool... it reminds me of a techno dance club i went to in the orient years ago. two bands were alternating playing and the beat just went on and on unbroken all night long - only evolving as one band took over from another. they were still playing the same song when i left at two that they were playing when i arrived at 10 - but it was totally different. everybody just danced - not with anybody in particular - with the sound...
it was my first time hearing hard core driving techno, and i went away adding it to the many kinds of music that i love
the club was on the 33rd floor of a high rise building with all windows along one wall looking out over the night scene of the city - the view fit the music perfectly
i went back to my room that night with a girl who didn't speak a word of english - she picked me up on the dance floor using the unmistakable signal of discretely rubbing her forearm along my package as she danced by me. we screwed for the rest of the night. i gave her (or i should say she counted out from the handful of cash i extended to her) the equivalent of US$100 and she left with a smile and another long warm kiss. we never spoke a word the whole time... my techno-fuck...
