First, if this category is not the right category for this article, would the mods please let me know
Second, how is this news? Besides it being CBC, where I think I answered my own question, this is not a new thing.
The number of online websites for this is a lot, and, if CBC is JUST reporting this now, it is either a slow news day or CBC finally took off their blinders to look around.

IThink this belongs or more than likely already is in the media watch list thread as this is not in fact an escort review . I had noticed over the years that the TV news shows have gotten very unprofessional In what they have on the news .
The ease of access that the internet provides for news show producers .
Which lets them quickly download content . Has made most main stream media have the same generic content.
I don't watch TV anymore But when I did see A TV news Station . Would often Have a "news story" on whatever the latest you tube video was at the time . I remember one Important news story That they said viewer would just not want to miss just before the commercial break
The Important story Was a you tube video Of an older couple who had purchased a computer That they did not know . That the web cam on was on .The video was two older people talking to the screen saying " I wonder what that little light at the top is for"
All the news shows seem to use whatever you tube video has gone viral at the time.
My guess is that the reason for having the latest you tube video. In the new's cast is not about delivering important news to the public.
But about search engine optimization so that more people will find the new's programs web sight. As for this so called story I think people watching TV news are more interested in its entertainment value than having something that will induce any type of critical thinking . I have noticed a lot of people like quick black and white simple answers . It is a lot Easier to deal with the idea of " every prostitute is being exploited by men ". Than the idea of " Just like any other profession some of them are being exploited" . The second sentence might make the TV viewers brain hurt to much and they will want to watch something less mentally stressful.
