It's a simple list really, and honestly several of them wind up as exactly the same item, just from different perspectives :)

1. Broadway Bodycare's Slutty/Lingerie Halloween night. God damn but it was just fun. shitty music, and all the ladies really just enjoying what I can only imagine was a sugar high or a bit of a drink before getting down to business... and at reduced rates, since 10-12pm was 20% off. All Treats dressed like tricks. Amaze.

2. Old "canadian winter halloweens" where a costume was your warmest winter clothes and either a mask or a ski-helmet, since there was snow to your knees and nobody wanted to open their doors, so you wound up with handfuls... giant bag-filling handfuls of candy goodness.

3. Britney Spears halloweens, where every single girl you knew hit the streets as the hottest slut you could imagine, channeling their inner pop-star version of the Brit.
(this one can be replaced with any version of: Madonna/Beyonce/Ke$ha/Avril/ et cetera et cetera).

4. Halloween parties where "m&m in the cleavage" was an actual game.

and finally

5. Taking ye old Hitrack's advice on a street cruise one halloween to see all the girls in their shadiest outfit workin the corners and trying to figure out which were legit pro's and which were drunk fucked up partiers. And getting it both right... and wrong... on different instances the very same night :)

Dnd out. Nostalgia is high tonight. Tricks and Treats to all you boys and girls.

Whatever happened to BBC? Did it just die down? was it forced to shut down?

Complaints about "sexy noises" from neighbors eventually led to an investigation and raid. If I remember correctly, the owner was arrested and charged with a number of charges and for a while there was a sign up claiming that it was closed for renovations but it never reopened. Not sure what ever happened to the owner as far as those charges are concerned.

I miss buying a crate of bottle rockets for $250 in the city and flipping it at 40/brick or 12/pack... and jumping fences running from cops, so I wouldn't get my firecrackers taken away. I miss 8th and 9th grade a lot more than I ever thought I would
