Things I found while mowing the lawn

It had been a week since I mowed the lawn and even though it had not grown that much, I thought I better get my butt in gear and get out there and get it done.

While mowing on one side of the front yard around the ditch, I came across a CD booklet for a Counting Crows album, then, halfway down the side of the ditch, I could see the jewel case with the CD in it. So I picked them both up... Not being a Counting Crows fan, I just did not like litter in my ditch.

Then, on the other side of the front yard by the other ditch (the driveway divides the ditch in two), I found the jewel case and CD booklet for an Alan Jackson greatest hits album, but no CD to be found... Oh well...

Well, the lawn (front and back) only took me 80 minutes to do instead of the regular 95 to 120 minutes, and, only 2/3 of a large garden garbage bag instead of 2 full ones.

It is so nice to have a fresh cut lawn.

Surprisingly, my lawn is still mostly green... Usually around this time it is mostly golden... So, it is so great to great to walk on it in your bare feet and not feel like you are walking on sage brush.

Should have just mowed over them. It would have made for some interesting sounds from the lawn-mower.

yah I thought it waws cool how in slow motion the CD's would start to wobble like hell before they exploded.
