It's not so much about age. The photos look way too instagram-y to be real. Most SPs won't show face like that. My theory is these people applied a filter to the photos to avoid reverse image lookups. Somebody must know who in instagram this is.There are girls who just look really young. The real question is can anyone confirm her authenticity and have carded her if she is for real.
All sorts of scenarios have happened:So what is the scam? Do they just ask for a deposit before "showing up", or what?
Yeah.. it's back when I was getting into this. And I was thinking with the wrong head. I count myself lucky that the scam didn't involve bodily harm or an altercation of any kind. Lost a couple of hundred bucks and learned my lesson.Oh man u done fucked yourself lol. U had so many chances but still got scammed in the end. U must have been pretty green at the time.
All E-Transfer now can be refunded with you bank if you provide they scammed you. It happens right away. Guys lets face it, you want to meet someone and they ask for a deposit which is fine, but be 100% real. The photos, what services being provided and time to meet needs to be honored. We need to do better at screening the girls as they screen us.All sorts of scenarios have happened:
The one time I've gotten scammed was a funny one. I get there, she suddenly remembers she's "out of condoms". Asks to go with her to a store nearby. On the way there, we walk by a bank, she asks if she can deposit the money since it's convenient. Noob me gives her the money and she deposits it. We get to the store (walmart) she asks "do you want me to go in and buy them?".. noob me thinks that's a good idea because I don't want to deal with cashier + condoms, etc. Anyway.. I wait outside, she never comes back. So I never again poon east of the fraser river.
- They ask for an e-transfer before the appointment and then ghost you altogether
- e-transfer and when you get there you get bait & switch, or no service
- You show up and a "pimp" robs you
There are stories...
LOL. In this context, what does that entail exactly? You're going to tell them that that you broke Interac's terms of service to pay a sex worker and it didn't pan out?if you provide they scammed you
Banks don't know what the E-Transfers are for which I'm sure a lot of people will not disclose what the reason was but yes you can have the funds reversed. I'm sure people would say it was sent to the wrong person which the bank would completely understand.LOL. In this context, what does that entail exactly? I'm skeptical that a refund would be straightforward without some pretty good evidence. If it ends up being easy to get a refund, I suspect a lot of people will stop using it altogether. What if I sell something to someone and they claim I didn't give it to them? On whom is the burden of proof? Dicey business.
Interac is a bit different from credit / paypal where the same institution is in control of the funds. However, when a recipient deposits your e-transfer, they may be in a different bank and your bank can't just withdraw from their account willy-nilly. If this were the case, people who sell stuff on craigslist etc would be getting scammed left right and center by this, and e-transfers would no longer be an appealing payment method.Banks don't know what the E-Transfers are for which I'm sure a lot of people will not disclose what the reason was but yes you can have the funds reversed. There is always risk with everything. Credit card companies allow chargebacks, business provide refunds, Paypal does disputes and the list goes on and on. I'm sure we're suppose to be on the honour system but then again its the 21st century.
Cash is king. When arriving, look to make sure its the right person and if not, just leave. Done. No Money lost, just time.
| Can I Reverse an e-Transfer After it’s Been Deposited? "In short, no, you cannot reverse an e-Transfer after it’s been deposited. However, if you realize that you sent the deposit in error, you can cancel the transaction before it is accepted by the recipient. You can do this either through online banking or by contacting your financial institution directly." |
Your scammed experience is almost identical to min: "forgotten" condoms (after I gave her the money), I let her go in as well (also a noob), never saw her again. The one time I've gotten scammed was a funny one. It happen to me once. Since Covid banks have changed all their policies and amounts since its becoming more mainstream now.Interac is a bit different from credit / paypal where the same institution is in control of the funds.
