i read in the news paper there are trials going on in iceland over the banking screw up in that country

hey and guess what in america alot of those guys from wall street ended up in the obama administration

funny how that worked out, one country criminal prosecution and the other you get government appointment

it's both... either way, fine or extortion, brazil gets the message across - no pollution of their beaches

it's just that being treated like a criminal for a while has a much more long-lasting effect on the executives than a 'cost of doing business' fine

I don't think there is anything to show criminal behaviour, accidents happen.

If they don't want oil pumped from their territory then don't issue permits. But, if then do issue permits to pump oil, along with that comes the risk of an oil spill.
