Not to worry.

Remember the Jays started the series against the Rangers by losing the first 2, at home. Yet they still took the series.

Lots of games still to be played.

It was a tough loss for sure but the Jays will turn it around in Toronto, its a total different game there and they will get the long ball going again.Jays in 6.

Mister Price gave his best playoff pitching performance, and his DEFENSE blew it for him! That fielding gaffe cost the Blue Jays the game, and I'm afraid the series too. Pray for winning 3 at home, and getting lucky winning at Kansas City in Game 6 or 7.
ONE error,to me, does not equate to cost them the game.Nobody out,one on, Price should be able to get out of that "jam"
Yes,it was a gaffe, but a top team s/b able to overcome it.

In the other series it s/b a gd matchup tonight, both Arietta&Syndergard can bring it(now watch,it might be 8-7,lol)

I think Price is going to have a very strong game. But what a pressure filled game for him....not only an elimination game, but he is going to sign a huge contract somewhere this winter. A bad game here probably ends up costing him millions.

Price and Stroman can still get this done.

I was watching Tim and Sid they actually made a good point about Price. That game they brought him in to replace Dickie, with the huge lead last series. Everyone was talking about how Dickie must have been pissed, needed one more out for the win.
But really Price was the one pissed. Basically telling him they'd rather have Stroman go game 5.

But this is fun. I can't remember the last time I was looking forward to a baseball game this much.

Everything you said....in agreement :thumb: Without stating the obvious, Price needs to shut K.C down, period!! And yes, for contractual reasons this gm will be a highlite for him no doubt.

2) Jays offensive bats--- the reason what got them where they are --- better come alive....and with authority !!

Jays will offer a lucrative contract to Price. It's a matter of whether he wants to stay with them or not. They have the money. I honestly believe that if they can somehow keep this line up going into next season......strong chance Price might resign with the Jays.

As big Jay fan I am.....helluva regular season they gave us!! I cant wait for next season already lol :pound::thumb:.

I can't help but feel it's a must-win for BOTH teams, the Jays obviously, but if you're a KC fan and IF there's a Game 7 how confident do you feel with Cueto taking the rubber?
His performances have been, let's be generous, inconsistent.

KC mgr Ned Yost(hands up if you remember him as catcher with the Vancouver C's,circa 1980?)may go with someone else but I believe it's Cueto's turn in the rotation?

Leads me to wonder if KC might have some pressure to get it done tonight?

So as a West Coaster born and raised if I don't only cheer for the local teams I'm a traitor, eh? Brilliant outlook.
Go Blackhawks! I think there's an XS Kane jersey up for grabs pre-game at the Sharks Club- best of luck.:pound:

Yeah Cueto has been average since becoming a Royal but I still think they will go with him. But even for tonights game the Jays are -127 to win. Ventura is pretty ordinary.

LOL. I don't understand these people that say Vancouverites can't support the Jays. People in Vancouver have always supported the Expos, Jays, Mariners from the time those teams started. Of course this is the first time any of those 3 have done anything interesting in a generation.

No shit huh? i'm BC born and raised, and since i have played/ watched baseball in the late 80's early 90's I have been a Jays fan, always will, they are Canada's only mlb team to boot, and since the Canadians are the Jays minor league team, even MORE of a reason to root for them

Blows my mind they could not bring in a run with 0 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd.
I'm really hoping for the Royals to win it after losing last year, just my gut tells my pitching will it all again and the Mets have those killer arms.

I have been going for the last few years to see the Jays when they are in Seattle. Just love the atmosphere there at Safeco as two thirds of the fans are wearing Blue Jays jerseys and completely drown out any Mariners fans.

These fans must be coming from somewhere besides Victoria.
You will find that at many ballparks in the U.S.

Baseball, NFL and NBA are huge events compared to NHL. Their fans follow them everywhere even to Fenway or Yankee Stadium.

When I worked in Seattle / Portland, I used to catch games at Safeco, have a beer and a dog then head home. The atmosphere in these parks is welcoming vs Blue Jays suck. Probably the most enjoyable night of baseball for me was in Oakland vs Mariners. Their fans treated me like I was a new neighbour on the block and not an opposing fan.

Can't score a run with a runner on 3rd base and no one out...you deserve to lose! Fundamental baseball...try a safety squeeze!

Would have gone against everything the Jays were this year, Power Baseball, hit it out of the country style.

A lot of Jays choked in this game.

Runners on 2nd & 3rd and nobody out and nobody can hit a fly ball, or a Texas leaguer or even a slow grounder?
