I'm not so much a conspiracy theory nut, as I like to read about history and current events. Part of that goes to pseudo-history. Given that the winners of wars write the histories and the Catholic Church imposed blackouts on historical events (eg if it didn't follow church teachings it was banned, like Galileo's theory of the solar system centered around the sun, not the earth as the church taught- due to its ignorance)
Like what happened to the Templar's Treasury in Paris? What is the real purpose of the Egyptian Pyramids etc. Why are there so many pyramids found throughout the world?
Social Media is gone nuts with unprecedented uses of false information and false flags, trying to confuse every one.
One Author I read is Graham Hancock (check out his show on Netflix). He has a ongoing battle with historians (who due to their insistence on a certain history dogma, due to wanting to keep their positions at their Universities/Colleges). Hancock's biggest problem is he gets stuck on anomalies that don't fit in with current historical facts (or they are completely overlooked by the history professionals). So how do they fit into the history narrative then?
One thing is that alot of people believe that we had a civilization before Sumer and Ancient India, and whatever knowledge they had was lost.
Another person I like watching on utube is Randall Carlson. He talks a good story.
One of his things is the flood of North America and why there isn't megafuana (large animals) in North America today. The flood happend (it was a fucken gigantic one- left evidence all across the Pacific north west in the states). But what caused the flood (this flood went from east to west). Well it could be the NA icesheet that melted (slowly behind a ice-dam, or fastly because of a comets/asteriods/massive solar flare). His current theory is the Perseid Meteror shower was the cause. Impacting the icesheets and melting them, without leaving behind crators.
There was also a flood went east to west over the western part of Africa (not sure where this water came from ice in northern Europe/Asia or a rebound of water entering from the Atlantic or if it was easier to flow back over northern Africa and west Africa back to the Atlantic). Are they all connected who knows for sure.
He has also come up by adding a theory (i don't think its his theory) of iso-static compression of earth's crust, where the loss of weight of the icesheet/water, once removed cause land upheavals (upward for where the icesheet was). Well the water went into the oceans, so this weight of the water is now compressing down on the oceans causing areas in the Atlantic to sink. Carlson then follows the words of Solon who got the story of Atlantis from the Egyptian Priests. With the pillars of Hercules are to where to sail to; to find Atlantis...
The thing is there is evidence of the floods in NW US states and on the western African continents of vast amount of flood waters. There is also evidence that land in the Atlantic ocean was once above water due to plant/rocks found underwater.
It is all interesting.
