You wouldn't be thinking of the same East Van crew as me?

Those were some crazy times to be a citizen on the fringes watching what was happening with the Italians v everyone else.
Mr. Badbadboy,
I believe we do know of the same crew. One that I'm sure we both know of is the highly successful Italian Nomad member. Throw in a few chaps from Red Eagles and the Lotus Gang and Outlaws Nightclub on Georgia Street was a lively venue to flex some muscles.

I'm sooo lucky to be alive. : )

Peace.

Look left. Way left.
Since its summer not much dramas on the TV. Looking for a mental escape series to watch. I normally go for the thriller, action, unusual dramas. Is this one going to do it ?
Thinking of buying the complete series on DVD.
It was boring. More lame violence and glorification of bloodthirsty criminals. If you ever happen to find yourself on the wrong of some of these evil bastards you wouldn't find it so entertaining.

Do you recall Bambi was a violent movie too? Spoiler alert, Bambi's Dad is killed by hunters! :pound:

But seriously there are and were much more violent shows on TV now vs The Soprano's. On a scale of 1 - 10 with The Sound of Music being a 1 and Reservoir Dogs being a 7; I would be hard pressed to call the Soprano's a 6.

I gave it a shot and now put the DVDs on ebay. I just for the life of me can't get into family dramas.
It did not give me a mental escape. I am Lost, Wayward Pines, Fargo, Prison Break ( up to season 2) kind of viewer.

I loved the Sopranos and think it's well worth watching the series. I am enjoying watching Ray Donovan this Summer. Just started watching this season which is season 3, but you can pick it up from season one on Crave TV which is $4 per month on Eastlink. Sure it would be similar through other cable providers. It has that Sopranos kind of vibe to it, in a different kind of way.
