i tried the new Gillette Fusion Power razor. The adverts say you could possibly get a month of shaves from a blade. ha ha ha, ( I guess to justify the exorbitant cost of the blades ) well for me maybe 3 or 4? I would say possibly a month, if you still are growing peach fuzz yes but not any guy with a medium to heavy growth. the blades are just too rough. That being said the power fusion is great for manscaping duties, if you like a clean machine, lol. Great pussy razor, like a power lawnmower.

Prefer, the Shick Hydro 5, cheaper, lasts longer and way sharper. and smoother (for me).

Oh yes, you can get this stuff at Walmart only in the US, called "Shave Secret" it is a shave oil, works really well. I gave some away to a couple of my favourite sp's and they love the stuff, virtually eliminates shaving cuts, red bumps, and irritation on the pussy. ( money saver as Shaving cuts = down time ) They love the stuff, now anytime I'm in the states I have to clean out the all the local Walmarts.

Have you folks got any favourites that work for you? Always on the look out for alternatives and new ideas.

I have to shave daily for my job. I just got the Gillette flex ball razor. I don't really notice a huge difference with it. I do notice I cut my self way more with though. I really don't think its worth the money. Also There's no way I get a month out of a blade, 3 weeks at best

I have always wondered about the schik Hydro. I'll give it a try in the next few weeks to compare the two. Glad to hear it's cheaper.

I have real sensitive skin (goes with my sensitive personality). Gave up on blades only years ago. Now I use an electric shaver (which gets the long hairs well but leaves a few short hairs), then I soap up and use a cheap throw away blade like bic for a finishing pass on the short hairs. They last about a week, then on to the next buck-a-piece razor. Face is happy, and the look is fabulous!

I was a Gillette guy until I bought a razor from Harrys (they are an online company.) The razor is great and WAY cheaper. I buy a razor and 14 replacement blades for the cost of 6 Fusion blades. It mails from Ontario and shipping is fast

I use this for trimming my pubic area, it works really well and it's super cheap, you can find it at the as seen on tv store, I got mine at the states a long time ago. As for shavers try this:

I lather with soap and shave in the shower. Manscaping as well.
My Gillette Fusion blades last 4 to 5 months.

I find the Schlick hydro 5 blades last way longer than Gillette . I also read that you should pop blade off and keep it in a little container of alcohol , until you use it again . Water corrodes metal , so the thinking is that you're not getting the same thing happening in alcohol .

If you find you're a heavy user of modern blades, then give the old-time safety razors a try. The shaver itself runs about $30 online, and the replacements blades are about $20 for 100.

Noxzema - I've used it for shaving for years now since I discovered it. Makes tough hairs soft, keeps from dulling blades as quickly, so I save on blades. It is also relatively cheap.

My ex girlfriend ( who was a part time sp btw, but that is another story) used to shave me in the bathtub. that was a very intimate experience, I loved it! Plus she got the closeness she desired as she liked my face baby bottom soft. She turned me on to Aveeno positively smooth ( light blue cap) it is really nice stuff. Works well with an electric too, if it can handle the wet.

The best shaves (face only) that I get are from an old school safety razor. As for everything else, I use the Gillette Body razor which is a Venus razor in a different color and packaged as a "men's body razor" or a Mach 3.

and you don't want to be one of those guys that like to shave an area with multiple strokes if you know what i mean. a straight razor always takes something off, and if all the whiskers are already gone, it starts on the layers of skin...

Your pours open up and the razor just slides nicely.
I use the cheap twin blades Bics and never had an issue.
Facescaping or manscaping.

Shick Extreme 3 from Costco about $18 for 12. I shave in the shower with Edge gel, keep one going for every day, and a better one for just before visiting SP to show up real smooth, ready for kissing.
