The Rise of The Charlattans...

A few years back, the majority of SP's who advertised their wares on Craigslist, Backpage and/or the early days of ERSList would turn out to be exactly what the picture showed.

In the "good old days", I would see an ad that would make me say "Oh man!!" while simultaneously rubbing my hands and raising my eye-brows;
then proceed to make an appointment fully aware that what I saw advertised is what I would find. And 90% of the time, I was never disappointed. (Granted, there were the odd Charlattan 10% but they were negligible.) Fast forward to 2015 and it's the other way around - 90% b.s. (enough to fertilize 4 Chilliwack farms!!) and the other 10%, well, you know. I am now on the verge of going on a 'poon pension' because I am unwilling to spend my hard earned Pesos on a product that has marketed itself as Holt Renfrew but is in actual fact straight outta Walmart (sic)... with the attitude to match!

I have to admit that the few brain cells I possess cannot figure out why there is such a glut of, for lack of a better term, Fabulist Advertisers! Can anyone chime in as to why this has now become the norm?

We, as pooners, have to partially blame ourselves for why there is so much false advertising - pictorial and written.

A day doesn't go by without some reviews advising that the lady that was hiding behind the door was not even close to the pictures in her ads, but they still handed over their money, instead of turning around and walking away.

Staying , and going through with the session, is not much of a deterrent, and only encourages those 'untrue' SPs.

There are lots of scammers on backpage who have been using the same fake pics for years. This gets posted on the board but nothing changes, maybe only a tiny minority of punters read these boards?
