Sounds like your word against hers. State your position clearly. ICBC typically likes to spread the "blame" so it might still work out.

I've had one on my truck for a couple of years. I just bought an upgrade, and one for my SO. I haven't needed it yet. Fingers crossed.
I'm thinking of putting my old dash cam in the back window of my truck, so that I have coverage in both directions.
A guy sideswiped me and almost pushed me up onto the sidewalk. Then he took off, in rush hour traffic. I chased him for two km and finally he stopped. Argued a bit, and then admitted his error. Apologetic, said he could get someone to fix my car. Tried to get me to not report it, said he would get it fixed for me.
I claimed anyway. Surprise surprise, he denied everything. Surprise number two, the whole thing, including our conversation, was on my dashcam.
Then I got rear ended a few months later. Maybe I will get a rear one too.
No accidents in 35 years, then two in a few months, fuk!
It doesn't matter how good you are or how careful you are. There are lots of idiots on the road who do not care.
A camera is a good way to protect yourself.

Random Strawberry Margarita Recipe...
Summer Solstice has come, and gone .

This is just a Recipe, I've come across, that Family & Friends of mine seemed to enjoy ?
Use at your own Risk...
Note ! I've seen it work wonders, at removing tight Panties ! LOL
Let's get started...
I'm going to break it down, into 3 Parts .
The Base, the Alcohol, and the Ice .
The Base:
1 Can Five Alive Citrus
1 Tub Frozen Strawberries With or Without Syrup
Note ! You could also use, either Fresh Strawberries, or Frozen Strawberries from a Bag ? Your Call !
Make up the Five-Alive, and add 1/2 of the Pitcher to your Blender .
Add 1/2 the Tub of the Frozen Strawberries, or a similiar amount of whatever Strawberries you're using to the Blender .
More Strawberries, if desired ?
You really can't go wrong, as Strawberries pair so well to Tequila !
Blend, and the Base is done .
The Alcohol:
Tequila( Refer to pg. 10 https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...-Overly-Sensitive-Please-Steer-Clear-!/page10 )
Use the best Tequila you can afford, or justify serving ?
Just make sure it says, "100% Agave" somewhere on the Bottle !
Triple Sec ( Any Orange Liquer would work ? Cointreau, or Grand Marnier works great if You can afford It ? )
I usually use Meaghers Triple Sec, it's reasonably priced ?
All-Inclusive Side-Bar: If the Resort you're staying at, has Grand Marnier as part of your Plan ? Ask the Bartender to make your Margarita with Grand Marnier .
They'll give You, whatever You ask for, if they've got It !
Slip them a Tip, and You'll never have to ask again .
I call it, the "Golden Margarita" .
The Alcohol is mixed 2 Parts Tequila to 1 Part Triple Sec .
A 26er(750ml) of Tequila, a Mickey(375ml) of Triple Sec, and You're set for the Evening !
Unless, You've got lots of Company ? LOL
Mix up those proportions, for whatever amount You'll need, for the amount of Margaritas you plan on making ?
I usually use a 2Cup measuring Cup, to blend the Tequila & Triple Sec . 6 - 8 Ounces of the Blend, should cover that Blender of Base ?
I'll add as much of the Alcohol Blend, while still keeping the taste Smooth .
The Ice:
This is where my Attitude has changed, over the last few Years .
To Blend, or Go on the Rocks ( La Roca ) ?
I always used to Blend, and order Blended, when in Mexico .
But, now on a Hot Day, I find the Ice seems to last longer, in a La Roca Margarita than in a blended one ?
So You make the Call ?
You'll want to go about 50/50 with the Ice, to the Base/Alcohol Mix .
Pour into whatever, You're using as a Glass, and finish off by squeezing a Fresh Lime Wedge into the Drink .
Voila, a tasty, sunny Day Drink
P.S. I should have added, I'm not a Fan of the Salted Rim !
I can find lots of other ways, to get my Sodium intake ? LOL

During my ....vacation.....I learned a few things.
Unless your in need of some dental work already, it's probably not a good idea to say ," there, there little princess" when a 265 pound cowboy falls off his horse right in front of you....and was already having a bad day to begin with.
I also learned that polishing the brass pole for the ladies between shows is frowned on...even if your just trying to be helpful....and the bouncer doesn't think it's funny when you inform him that due to your engineering background, you figure the mounting plates securing the brass pole,are not going to pass the workers comp. inspection.
Oh and one more random thing.....when visiting from the city, don't let your " dog park friendly " mutt chase my stock.
Yeah I know he's a cattle dog, that's never seen cows before, and yeah I know he's just doing what's natural, but...my two Mastiff's,that are there to protect those cows, don't see it that way.
....and sending your lawyer with the vet bill in hand is just funny.
