Chinese Tech Company Is Offering A Night With A Porn Star As A Bonus

When most companies offer their employees year end bonuses it's usually in the form of money. But Chinese tech company Qihoo 360 offers something way cooler. They offer their employees bonuses in the form of vacations, Porsche 911s and a night with a 27 year old Japanese porn star named Julia. Julia isn't just any old porn actress either. In China she's basically an adult film icon. That's definitely a great way to motivate your employees.

LOL that's awesome! What gets me is they were following it. No need to chase them, just get their attention and bring 'em home. :D

Some 109-year-olds read books, or play bridge -– but not Alfred “Alfie” Date.

The oldest man in Australia spends his time knitting tiny wool sweaters for tiny, injured penguins.

Date has been knitting for more than 80 years, but this was his first foray into bird knitwear. The Penguin Foundation stresses to eager knitters that “this is not a fashion statement" -- the sweaters actually prevent the injured penguins from preening and swallowing the toxic oil.

Watch The Dubai Police Fleet of Supercars In Action

If you’re a police officer and you love cars, then you really need to see about getting a job with the Dubai Police Department. They have a whole fleet of supercars at their disposal, and they’re not just for looks. Officers regularly run patrols in these very drool-worthy cars.

The most recent editions to the fleet were a Lexus RC F and a Toyota Land Cruiser. They join a very pricey lineup that includes Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Mercedes. To show the world just how cool their fleet of cars is, they’ve made a slick video featuring the full line-up.

They wrap things up with the cars all on display in a plaza where the public can wander past and drool over the assembled machinery that includes a McLaren 12C, Nissan GT-R, Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes SLS AMG, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF, Mercedes G63 AMG, and Audi R8. They even let kids sit behind the wheel, perhaps getting the next generation of Dubai officers ready for the job.

Two B.C. residents make shortlist for mission to Mars

A pair of B.C. residents are among the final 100 candidates for a one-way mission to Mars on a partly crowdfunded space shuttle in 2024.

Joanna Hindle, 42, a high school teacher from Whistler, and Sue Weinreich, 42, a volunteer Scout leader from Vancouver, were selected from an initial 202,500 candidates by the team at Mars One, a foundation with a plan to put humans on Mars.

The $6-billion Mars One project proposes to send waves of humans to a future outpost on the red planet starting in 2024.

Once there, the astronauts — who would arrive in fours every two years — would live in “spacious living units,” grow and harvest food, build more living spaces and conduct research, according to the Mars One website. It would be a typical lifestyle, the foundation states, except when the residents go outside they would need to wear a “Mars Suit.” The astronauts could even watch a time-delayed broadcast of a future Super Bowl, according to Mars One’s FAQ page.

I have serious doubt that the MARS project is going to happen.

Remember when people said this IS going to happen.
