okay, i may take some heat for this answer. i'm somewhat of a caveman. i am the "tough" one that makes the impression when i walk into a room. i do this more now because i can harness it and not just be intimidating and make it work for me. but i'm not the proverbial "cute" guy nor do i have a babyface. interestingly enough i don't end up with smoking hot women. i can attract them, i can date them, i can sleep with them but most of them i can't stand after a while. the girl that's made the biggest impression on me (the one that got away) was pretty but not super hot, but she had the best attitude i've ever seen in a person. she was hard working at everything in life and didnt' complain, and that's a trait i admire. i suppose in the end i would want a woman who knows how to work hard, is non-bitchy, and not be self absorbed.
what was my point - that whether you are pretty or not, you will attract somebody who likes the traits you have - AS LONG AS THEY CAN SEE THOSE TRAITS. and it's up to you to show them. in the end your best asset should always be your mind.

People will be attracted to you because you have a brain and a heart, and because you bust your ass 24/7. I've met alot of dicks in my lifetime who have the looks but none of the above and they are total losers. Most people in the world do not attract others with their looks. Maybe only 5-6%. So how do all the others attract a mate? According to Seinfeld it's alcohol. Good luck!

ironically, when i had no 'self-esteem' i met lots of women
but got kicked in the nards a lot ...
then i developed some self-esteem and realized that i don't need

I can envision someone of your physical ilk arriving at my motel doorstep for "business", but such a person would seldom consent to share even as much personal depth as you shared in this one paragraph.
There cannot be many situations in life in which a person is made to seem less "comfortable" than she is when knocking on a stranger's hotel room door with both sides expecting to be engaged in carnal f*cking with one another only minutes later.
So once you give the world a perception of yourself in such a routine, you are magically made to seem even more sought-after when expressing yourself comfortably and verbally as you did above.
In other words, if the prettiest girl from high school were to utter the same sentiments you did, with the same matter-of-fact degree of comfort and self-assessment, I would hear it, I would consider life from her perspective for a minute, and then I would not be surprised... because those sentiments are logical.
However, when I sense a young and perceived-by-me-to-be sexually charged woman who works as an SP to say and feel the same way, it causes me to take more interest in those words, because of the way she has built a backdrop for her life where self-expression is more rare than it is perceived to be when merely coming from the prettiest girl in my high school class.

I agree with the above....I've had sessions with some "good" looking girls and they were dull..whereas I spent time selecting one that "clicked" with me and I enjoyed myself much more.
