I don't use cannabis in any form, but I've learned from Northern Indiginous Elders their process for infusing resins and oils from wild plants for oral and topical medicines.
Just curious Erica, how You made out with this Project ?
I would love to make some "Massage Oil" too .
I came across this Masseuse, who seems to swear by it's wonderful properties !
Cheers
P.S. I forgot the massage Tune . LOL

I make several topical skin creams for myself , and for trade with local Native people when I have extra.
I will take buds from trees or plants in the spring, just before they are about too open, and place them in a slow cooker on high for two to three days on medium or high with coconut or olive oil, depending on the result i require.
If your trying to extract a resin from cottonwood buds I will use a combination of olive oil and coconut...if your trying to extract an oil I will only use olive oil....
After the two or three days the product will turn a deep Amber ...and I will slowly melt in bees wax purchased from a local Honey producer.
I will melt in small amounts and pull out a tablespoon, let it solidify, and test its texture...the more wax, the harder the paste.
