11 has become to be a very interesting number. It could be a forced coincidence, but in any case this is interesting. You decide for yourself:

1) New York City has 11 letters.

2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.

3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.

4) George W. Bush has 11 letters.

This could be a mere coincidence... (Could it be?)

Now here is what is interesting...

1) New York is the State # 11

2) The first plane crushing against the Twin Towers was flight #11.

3) Flight # 11 was carrying 92 passengers Adding this number gives us: 9+2=11.

4) Flight # 77 who also hit the towers, was carrying 65 passengers Adding this: 6+5=11.

5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11. Adding this: 9+1+1=11

6) The date is equal to the emergency number 911. Adding this: 9+1+1=11

Now we have a very upsetting piece..

1) The total number of victims inside the planes are 254: 2+5+4=11

2) The day September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year: 2+5+4=11

3) After September 11, there are 111 days more to the end of the year.

4) The tragedy of 3/11/2004 in Madrid also adds to: 3+1+1+2+4=11.

5) The tragedy in Madrid happened 911 days after the tragedy of the Twin Towers.

A puzzle for all number-lovers:

Three women came to store to buy a big-huge-green dildo, which costs $30. However, none of them had enough money to buy one, so they decided to chip in with $10 each. Later on, manager decided to give them a $5 discount, but then there was a problem - how do you divide $5 between 3 women? So manager decides to give each women $1, and kept $2 to himself (life is bitch, eh?). So each women get $1 back, in other words each spended $9 instead of 10. How much did they spend on dildo in total? 9x3=27 and add $2 the manager kept to himself, and you will get $29.

Question: where the hell is 30th dollar?

Partially right. It was the manager who put in the extra dollar.

Each lady paid only $9 toward their shared toy. $10 each minus the $1 they got back.

The manager put $2 in his pocket true, but he gave the ladies $3, so he actually has $1 less in his pocket than he did before the ladies came in.

Total cost
$9 from each lady 27.00
$1 from the manager 1.00

Total 28.00

Its actually simpler than you think: 27-2+5=30

Another way to think of it is the dildo cost $30 and then he OFFERED a $5 discount but in effect kept $2 of that discount so the dildo cost $27 (30-5+2=27) which is what the ladies paid 3x$9=$27. They each have $1 in change or $3 in total so the seller has $27 and the ladies $3 which equals the $30 in question.
In the original post the error is in adding back the $2 the owner has, that is already included in the $27, the $3 dollars the ladies have is what should be added to get $30 there is no missing dollar.
