I had a sore back for days, so walked into an AMP looking for a massage. If anything else was on offer, I might consider it, but I primarily just wanted and needed a massage.
I booked 60 minutes ($60), and the masseuse was actually quite good. I could feel my back loosening up some. She also made a few tentative forays between my legs, but worked the areas I requested.
At 30 minutes, she told me to flip, but I asked her to just continue with the back massage. At that point she said she was too tired (this was all in pidgin English, but I knew what she was saying), and the massage was either over, or I could fork out extra for a HJ.
I didn't want the HJ at that point ( she wasn't that appealing, and my priority was fixing my back), so I asked for a refund and I'd leave.
She very, very reluctantly gave back $10 and I was out the door. (30 minutes was advertised as $40, but I considered the missing tenner as a tip, because she really did help my back, but she acted like I short-cganged her.
Is it a common thing that an actual full massage isn't done because it's too much work or it isn't lucrative enough? (I was preared to tip at least $20-$30 at the end of the hour anyway, but of course she wouldn't know that).
