Maybe I posted too soon...?
Hi folks...
I thought I had originally set this poll to close after a few days, so when I posted about it being a waste of time, which, btw probably wasn't my best choice of words, I thought there wouldn't be any other votes being cast.
Anyway... I fully intend on being at the Drake at or close to 4pm this Sunday. Hopefully there will be others who are still wanting to come. Its always great to see the familiar faces of friends from previous PA's and I always look forward to meeting new ones, too. I'll try and get a booth or two and will have something there to identify it as the Perb booth (for those of you who wouldn't reecognize me or whomever I might be there with). A very good friend once suggested bringing balloons to a previous PA to identify us, but I think just a sign on the table will be good enough - hopefully
If, however you go to the Drake on Sunday and see a single white guy sitting alone in a booth with a diet coke and a buncha balloons... there's a good chance it's me..

has to be 22 people there, but the point of the PA's - especially the recent ones - has always been to get as many Perberts and Perbettes as possible together to build friendships and to help build (or rebuild) a sense of Community here. That has been seriously lacking around here since the original PA's were forced to go underground and then disappeared altogether. Generally speaking, the larger the group of people that get together, the more fun there is to be had. I had also hoped that with this event being for such a good cause and one that's close to home for me (my mother suffered from breast cancer which thankfully has been in remission for several years now) that more people would commit to showing up. That said, I had always intended on going, regardless of how many people here said they would come.
