The New VE Website

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section, but since there's no "Victoria Lounge", I figured this was the next best thing.

Does anyone else have problems with the new VE website (www.victoriaseden.com)? I use Firefox, and the site is completely screwed up (every image appears twice, the top navigation "bar" is screwed up and wraps across two lines, etc.)

Well Rob No problems on my end. I think the new site is great. Could VE be getting ready to rise to the top of the Victoria scene. I am not sure if they are still by the arena or not but with a new site maybe there digs are next on the list of changes?

The site just went up. Nothing special. We wanted something very simple we can update ourselves, no FLASH and easy to read/navigate with easy access gallery. We will be making improvements as we go. I will have a look at the coding. The html editor used sometimes doubles up code that doesnt show in netscape or explorer. Also wasnt there a site that you could submit your website to that suggests code fixes for websites?

Actually, I'm running Netscape 7.1 and it's doing the same as Firefox. I hate to admit it, but I do use IE when I'm desperate because of something just not working properly in another browser.

I've been using Mozilla for awhile now and I never have a problem getting into VE aside from when they 1st started up the new site. I do agree that IE sux tho. BIG TIME!!

I think you're thinking of: http://validator.w3.org. Just enter a URL for a specific page (for example http://www.victoriaseden.com/home.html) and it will tell you what changes need to be made to make the page compliant with whatever version of HTML you're targeting.
