Killing 2 birds with one stone... it works.... by golly.....
I would agree the NDP are not good governors when elected, mostly because they tried to keep their election promises, while fucking up the economy in the past in BC.

I am hoping Andrew Scheer does the right thing and steps down. If not, I would most definitely be voting for Trudeau again. In fact I will campaign for him.
I don't think he'll step down until we get a new tory leader, and I feel like that probably won't happen until the pandemic is over, and by then, Scheer will have tanked the party so far into the ground.

BC NDP look like saints in comparison to the BC Liberals that were in power for 16 years. They completely ruined this province and encouraged dirty money to buy up all of our real estate. The Glen Clark scandals are child's play compared to what Gordon Campbell and Christy Clark did to this province. ICBC was brought in by the NDP in the 70s and it was actuall decent back then. The liberals decided to use it as their own piggy bank to "balance the budget". I'll take BC NDP any day over the Libs.

Oh so tempted to throw into this delightful discussion of all the fuckery politics provides. Too bad it couldn't just be some bizarre form of entertainment instead of being so critical to life in our worlds. I go back to the first Trudeau and his mentor Pearson, and all that came after that. Corruption and scandal, ass hat moves you name it on the federal level. Mind you in the early days I was an Albertan and (really what do I know about good vs bad politics) but Peter Lougheed seemed to be the last good first minister in my lifetime. Who knows how Jack Layton would have been ...

So instead of politic-ing with everyone and getting my blood pressure up to serious levels, I have a nice glass of John Barr with me, my laptop outside on my patio with the little fairy lights a-twinklin' and the night is gorgeous. So I'll just play some nice funky you tube music and relax. Cheers all.

he's overrated, he could have done much more, he didn't

the latest actual adult who in all aspects seemed to be quite reasonable, at least when I saw him speak was Brad Wall

it's too bad he didn't want to run Federally for the leadership

Grew up in the 70s and 80s in Saskatchewan. The NDP fucked that province hard. Moved to BC in time for round 2 of the NDP here. They fucked that right up as well. Sorry, but the NDP are total shit in power, just like the rest of them. Look at the scandals, whoever is power very quickly slide in the corruption like the rest.
What's your problem wth how the current NDP is handling BC?

Did you see what the BC Liberals did over the las 16 years? You can thank them for money laundering, ignoring court rulings and wasting money fighting legitimate union contracts, gangsters getting rich with drug dealing and using cainos s ATM's while they looked the other way, out-of-control house prices and the pillaging of ICBC and BC Hydro to pretend they had balaced budgets.

Pillaging crown corps are the thing to do, instead of raising taxes.... oops , just a friendly reminder taxes are going up.... for businesses and personal in the next few years to make up for the free handouts.

Like it or not the next BC government and the Federal government will have to raise taxes. Raise taxes on exports of raw material like coal, gas, oil, trees. Close tax loopholes so that people pay all the tax every body else is paying, no exemptions. Raise the PST and GST by 0.5%.
Stuff that is imported from abroad, like certain types of marble tax at a higher rate.
I may not want to pay higher taxes, but it is in the works.
Another thing is to make the elected governments fiscally responsible.

Just Wondering.... Most people have the attitude "my shit doesn't stink" even tho they just ripped a big fart and its smelly.... That I can see stinking.....
