I watched the whole first season (got it on DVD).

I thought the pilot was very good, but it went down hill after that.

I wonder about the premise of that many lipstick lesbians. I know they have to exist, but in the show there were no "traditional" lesbians, even as background. All of them were beautiful, thin, hot looking Southern Californians; every man's lesbian fantasy.

I will watch at least the start of the 2nd season.

We're all "mulatto", if you go far back enough. Gotta love that term. Thought it had gone out of fashion with the end of slavery. Everyone's a mix. The whole idea of "whiteness" (or any racial term for that matter) is an artificial cultural construct with no basis in hard science, those on the inside telling the outsiders "We'll let you know when you're white enough, when you may permitted to join the whiteness club". Its sole purpose is to exclude. For instance, Greeks, Italians, & Slavs weren't considered white in the US of 100 years ago.

90% of the lesbians I know are fat, wear mens' or androgynous clothing, & wear ugly haircuts. I know very few such as the ladies on this show. But then again, this is Oregon....
