This is a pretty interesting video. I saw this phenomenon happening a few years ago, more amongst women than men, in the form of constant texting. It gives people a way to express themselves and any thought they have without knowing the reaction of others, thus they will never be able to anger or hurt someone's feelings. I call it passive communication. Anyone can be brave behind a computer screen.

Personally, I've always been a face to face person. I text only as a way to send a singular message that I don't intend to be answered right away and I almost never have a text conversation that will be more than half a dozen texts. If I call people, it`s usually to make arrangements for things and i only have long conversations when I cannot meet someone in person. Nowadays, I`m leaning towards Skype to talk with those I cannot meet in person but still want to spend some time with because you can see that person and have a real time conversation. Still, nothing beats in person, face to face contact.

it all comes together around the 3:00 mark.

Learn how to be alone = turning OFF technology.

Sure I can turn my phone off at the end of a "work" day, but getting off the Internet is a whole 'nother story!!!

Good one, Alex!
