What in the world are you referring to? What do you object to specifically? Do you have a problem with the decriminalization of prostitution? She seems well-informed to me, and objects to lies she finds in the media.

This is fantastic! I love the anti-feminist bit when she points out that the whole prostitution transaction demonstrates men's sexual dependence on women and proves our dominance. Rather fucking cool, that! Also why misogynists almost universally despise prostitutes.

IMO, her comment on singers and actors is painted with a broad brush. Many singers and actors are capable of doing exactly what their title suggests, often in a live setting. (No digital edits etc). Yes most use sex appeal and looks to help (or entirely) sell their product but then so do some folks like Cactus Club servers, mobile auto insurance girls, and female dental hygenists. Actors-singers are often highly intelligent people with varied interests and diverse skills. Re: "...dream of growing up to be...". So pipefitter is a lowly occupation in her mind? (No I'm not a pipe fitter. That topic's for another thread. Haha)

I don't think that's what she's saying. She's pointing out that using the aesthetic appeal of one's body parts is a way of making a living. An actor can be butt ugly and a great actor just the same, just as a musician, comedian, etc. They better be really talented though.

The way the music industry works is that the better looking you are, the less you have to be able to sing, pretty much to the point that the only requirement is lipsynch.

Kathy Bates is a hell of an actress. Same with Dame Judi Dench. Neither is known for using sex appeal to market themselves.

Megan Fox however uses sex appeal pretty much exclusively.

Also, it's always dangerous to compare the worth of one profession over another. Pipe fitters aren't any more lowly than SP's depending on who's doing a comparison. It's just that when making a point you have to pick some professions to compare.

Some people like their work more than others, or like parts of their work more than others. Also, people are individuals...some women couldn't be SPs because they have too many hang-ups about sex just like some people couldn't be pilots because they are colorblind. (Whereas some can suck a golf ball through a garden hose and maintain a squat position for 15 minutes straight... you know who you are girls!) :high5: Whatcha gonna do?
