A friend put me on to these movies. Essentially, they are BMW commercials, but not ones that you'd ever see on tv. Here the car is more like a character in the film rather than a product being sold. These are 6 to 8 minute shorts, directed by some of Hollywood's biggest names (Ang Lee, John Woo, John Frankenheimer, Tony & Ridley Scott), produced with feature-film production quality, with some great co-stars (Madonna, Gary Oldman, Forest Whitaker, Mickey Rourke) and produced solely for Internet release.
There are two "seasons" of films, 5 films in Season 1 and 3 in Season 2. The main character is "The Hire". He's the driver. In season one, he drives a different BMW in each film and in Season two, he drives a Z4 roadster in all 3 films.
Simply put, these are amazing. 6 - 8 minutes of great action, awesome driving and chase scenes and a little humour thrown in for good measure (check out "The Star").
