Seth Rogan was on Letterman last night. He explained he was in a comic shop and overheard a long time reader of the classic comic complaining about the movie and turning it into a comedy etc. Pretty sad really that people can only have one version of what they expect from a movie. Look at one of the Batman films with Jim Carey and Jack Nicholson. Jokes and even dancing

I say lighten up. Anyone who saw the Green Hornet TV shows will appreciate that they used some pretty 'campy' humour in the day.

I'll go see it for a laugh. Not much else in the theatres these days.

I like the trailers so far. I like that kind of humour, but I imagine the movie is filled with frat boy adolescent bathroom jokes typical of Seth, which is really not funny. The Kato (is that right?) character seems like the brains behind the team, which is funnier and if Bruce Lee had been in a TV show today, instead of when GH was made, he too would have been the hero, not the sidekick.

That "Korean guy" is actually Taiwanese, a very popular singer, Jay Chow. Now that's WTF haha. My Asian dudes on my team said so

It's understandable...and closer than a Korean playing the part. Jay does look Korean though. It seems most hollywood orientals nowadays are korean. Sulu in the new star trek, the orientals in the new Hawaii Five O just to name a few. Pretty much everywhere in the USA Koreans are playing anothing but a Korean, lol. Are there no Japanese or Chinese people playing themselves any more?

So suffice to say, this movie is crap?

I enjoyed it. But it is very much a Seth Rogen movie. I really liked Jay Chou in the movie and thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic between him and Seth Rogen.
