So what do you think about these people taking vacations to another country for the Christmas break.

One thing to remember is the new British found virus that spreads more efficiently. In this world where we all should be isolating from coming back from abroad, why is there this new virus found in Canada and in Los Angeles.

I think the people taking holidays to other countries are in the wrong in this time of isolation from Covid. Why? Because its the government position for people to stay at home and isolate to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus. So going to another country with less infrasture than our health care system --- where you could be staying up to several weeks to months because of that country or Canada refusing entraince of its own citizens- due to what ever reasons.

Is it a sense of entittlement? A chance to escape the cold? A holiday where you can just relax? I mean they found a way around to take their vacations and still obey the rules.... but.... they broke the rule of everybody is in on staying home....

So if your a politician (elected) you have to follow the party line of staying home and isolating, otherwise you are shitting on your own party......

If you are a civil servant you are equally guilty, but for another reason. You think the rule of staying home doesn't apply to you!!!! And the rules never said you couldn't.....

To me this says that you are rich enough to be able to afford an vaccation. The vacationer probally does this every year. A Canadian snowbird.

The reality is that if you have money, you can do whatever you want.... As long as you skirt those rules a bit..... Just think this ....."I am Entittled"......

Of course no one wants new cases brought in by travelers for whatever reason, but as long as protocols are followed then what more can we ask for? Yes it's hypocritical but isn't that sort of expected from politicians?
If they wanted to stop people from traveling they should just ban it full stop, and maybe close down airports so we stop getting foreigners coming in.*potential vectors*
