I don't care what anyone says about all you bastards, you've proven your worth to me. ;)

As I was offering mostly longer appointments and not a discount in prices not everyone took me up on my offer (afterall, it is hard to find more time sometimes) but I actually had a few clients bring donations without requesting the free upgrades and also a few clients who brought more than the requested number of items. In total I have collected:

- 11 gift cards ($20-$50 values: IGA, Future Shop, Safeway, Whitespot, Sears, Chapters, Starbucks)
- 1 XBox game
- 1 teddy bear
- 1 fisher price car
- 1 dvd
-1 batman helicopter (how cool!)
- a set of science books
- 4 arts & crafts sets
- the most adorable scarf/hat/glove set for a small child.
- plus 3 appointments upcoming this week that will be bringing an item

That means that with the help of my clients at least 25 gifts will be donated to the Christmas Hampers program.

Thank you all SO much! At least 80% of these have come from perb as I did not advertise this anywhere else and most of my out of town clients did not utilize the specials.

For all those worried about the economic crisis and your stocks loosing value just remember there are many people out there who have no value to loose. They slave away working minimum wage in retail, McDonald's, etc and these are the people that are going to be hit the hardest by this because these are the first rounds of people to loose their jobs and most of these people likely have no savings and the 50% of your wage that EI gives you is not enough to survive when you were earning minimum wage to begin with.

You may think that we reap what we sew, and that may be a valid point, but if you can help the children who are in these situations please do. It's hard to be a child and feel guilty when your parent buys you something because you know how much it costs and you know your family has no money. Trust me, I know how that felt and Christmas Hampers are the one time a year where I did not have to feel guilty because I knew the gifts I received were donated by amazing people like you :)

It's nice to see people helping out.. even if in small ways. every little
bit counts:D

Katlyn, this is wonderful what you are doing. When I was really busy in the industry and making money I felt very compassionate for the women who were not blessed with the ability to do this job. Besides the young women and children struggling there are the senior men and women eking out an existence.

The invisible masses who toil away 12 and 14 hrs per day and barely have enough to live on with their families do not have time or energy to voice their frustrations. They probably don't even vote, most I have met don't bother as they feel it pointless.
I met a shopkeeper who also has a job milking cows and she is up at 4 a.m. milking and then off to the store and then back to milking and then an evening job at a pub..everyday with one day off per week, and she can barely make ends meet for herself and her children.

People who make the effort to give make a huge difference in this world!:)

The people at McDonalds are probably the most likely to keep their jobs. Apparently McDonalds is a recession proof industry and they actually see an increase in their business in tough times. What this realistically means is that some people who lost decent paying jobs are now going to get employment at McDonalds.

All this aside, congratulations Katlyn on your philanthropy and the generous spirit of your clientele. :)

Well done Kaitlyn!

In the same spirit. Maybe another escort will offer free services to some poor guy who has lost his job but still hates his wife! :)

So cool you're collecting toys!!

I've been asking for Food Bank donations. So far I've got several $25 gift cards to grocery stores and a champagne bucket full of 20's..

I asked for $25 donations and several of my awesome gents donated $40
One dropped a nice crisp $100 bill into the bucket the other day!

I'm so pleased to see the warmth and willingness to help others who just aren't as lucky as us.

Most of my clients found out about my client appreciation charity special through Perb.. Thank you soooo much, perbites!!!

Huge boobilicious hugs..
xoxo

Nina that is awesome!! :) I wish I could have offered discounts as you have done rather than the longer time as then I could have probably collected more...but it's hard with the tight part time schedule to do that.

Food banks really suffer this time of year and then especially right now. I've heard a lot of people are utilizing them that maybe do not NEED to just because they are trying to spend less due to fear of the economic situation.

Well done Kaitlyn!
