I am living my life but no desire to be in a large indoor crowd for an extended period of time. To be honest I never cared much for crowds anyway.
I'm just glad we don't have to listen to that Bonnie Henry on a daily basis anymore...she's probably just as happy as well... gives her more time to pen her second book, with her big sister, on the pandemic.

or how do you describe her being the first Health officer in the country to bend to Trudeau's political will to look better by stretching the window for vaccines to 4 months with absolutely no science behind it

which are nothing more than security theater, specially when you have herd immunity levels in the country, 80% for one shot and over 70% for 2 shots
not to mention in the 90% range for those who are truly at risk, the over 70 age group, and in the high 80's for those over 60 age

yet she's still not OK with that, otherwise she wouldn't be supporting firing people, the few who aren't vaccinated, for whatever reason

The article makes a false equivelency between covid infection rates and heart disease/cancer; Covid outbreaks occur in clusters that will overwhelm health care in a short period of time, while the other two are 'slow acting'.
I would agree that its a 'public health issue' though.
If you get your science news from the Toronto Sun it is not surprising you haven’t read any papers supporting mixing vaccines or the reasons for delaying second shots.
Those papers are highly controversial. Very few countries have taken the delayed dose route. The drug maker's all dispute delaying second doses. Everyone is doing their own thing now. The fully vaccinated assume they're immune to covid. It's heavily promoted you won't die from breakthrough infections, but they're withholding the fact you might suffer permanent side effects including health damage from covid.
I feel any debate around this is now pointless. Boosters are the same vaccines and data is all over the place regarding their effectiveness especially with the Lamda variant which is pretty much impervious to current vaccines.
In any event, it seems the focus now has shifted from preserving life to stimulating the economy.

really? where is the science for delaying shots? no other country did what Canada did, and there was no research behind it

they didn't have any studies or science behind their decisions, the idiot from Canada Health even said so moron, it's on the record, she was asked if they would be doing it if they had adequate amounts of vaccine, she said of course not
