The economics of incalls

As someone who has an apartment for rent managed by a regular property management company, I'm just wondering about how various incall arrangements work, to get an insight into the escort's side of things -- and yes, to see if my suite could be legally safely changed to accommodate a different type of tenant.
Especially curious now, with so many rental options available now, such as AirBnB for short-term rental suites, and the InCall Rentals agency.
Would love to hear ladies share how they work out their arrangements and the reason it makes sense for them, compared to outright renting an apartment on a regular lease.

If you look at your strata agreement you will prob find it has a restriction on sex related ventures.

If it your own house then you better read the law.

Strata that I've been involved with didn't specify sex related work but more generic 'running a business' from your suite.

If the condo is a live-work suite, that would be a great and would avoid a lot of potential problems.
The first step would be going to a lawyer (or even two or three) with a copy of your strata documents and having him or her determine if there are any clauses in there that might allow the strata to force your tenants out.

Pretty sure no strata allow you to run a business in a residential condo. Some do look the other way for Airbnb but not the ones I’ve lived in.
Some do allow operating a home business. Years ago an SP I saw frequently owned her condo, in a building that didn't allow running a business. She got herself elected to the condo council and managed to get the rules changed, so that she could operate her business.

When I lived at Finlison reach on bear mountain the lease agreement did say no sex related busineses were allowed to operate from premises.

Im unsure if you are asking to rent out to a bunch of Sps by the hour, or just rent to an sp who wants to live and work there, or just live there etc. Most of us rent from people who don't know we're using it for work. I worry that if someone propositions ladies they would add a hefty uncharge and potentially want their real name etc which can be worrisome. If you're trying to do by the hour and have multiple people using it, it's usually more hassle than it's worth. With people being messy and not cleaning properly, last minute client cancelations, ladies trying to pull IOU's etc it's not stress free.
Damn. What a minefield this is turning out to be, even without having a manager checking on the suite for "messes".

I got the idea to inquire because I saw there's a business called InCall Rentals (they advertise on PERB). They weren't looking at Burnaby or Surrey apartments at the moment, so my properties don't qualify for consideration. Just figured I'd start asking around a bit to get the lay of the land in case it became a possibility.

Anyone have a property managed by ICR and willing to share their experiences?
