So i guess a client who an SP sees every week or several times a week
might be in for an even bigger rate reduction or extra time? When I
find an SP who i am satisfied with, i like to see her regularly and not
be a big butterfly. Not that i don't like a bit of variety as well, from
time to time. But even with that i stick with my regular SPs as long
as everything continues to go well {good service, attitude, etc}.
Unfortunately not with me, no more than I would discount any other regular that is. I only have time to see 5 clients, and my schedule fills every week (some week I do have time open up and can see a 6th or 7th but almost always 5 max), I can't afford to make much less than I already make. I do discount what I can but part of that is knowing that discount will only be used once a month at most. This is my only job and it is an expensive one to run with high rents and advertising costs, I make exactly what I need and not much more lol I hope that makes sense. :)

I think you are more likely to be able to get significant discounts (or perhaps half hour rates in exchange for an hour appointment) if you book regularly with ladies who either have an open schedule and can take more appointments, or who do not have minimum earnings required such as this is their second job. Just remember not to broach this subject until you have already seen her a couple of times. Nothing will put a girl off like telling her in your first contact that if it works out you'd like to see her often for a discount. It kind of feels like being bullied when guys do that, even if theoir intention is genuine and honestly just letting her know that you really like her and hope you can see her more. Also, a lot of ladies I see do offer a loyalty thing where if you pay in advance you get one free, or have a certain number of bookings, one is free. Angel and BobbiInVic do this, I'm sure there are more. I would be willing to do this, it would be easier to squeeze a free hour in once in a while than to deal with the finances of discounting every week, though again because my schedule is not regular this has never come up for me personally.

Hope this helps!

Rather then start another thread i figured i would ask this here.

When an Sp offers 200 for a half hour and 260 for the full hour is she assuming that I will go for the full hour because the full hour is only $60 more ?

Almost every time i go for the half hour the Sp tries selling me the whole hour.

The fact is...business is great for us ladies and I only see rates going up. :)

I'm sorry to see that the handful of you manipulative pooners, some of whom may well be able to afford higher rates, continuing to try to convince all of the ladies that they are in some sort of crisis. :p

Ya, sure you saw some dirty drug addict on CL offer a few specials, but that happens all the time, thats not new!...and thats not everyone.

Keep flappin and complaining I see its really having an effect  LOL
I hope your not directing that at me. I like the pricier girl$, they price the cheap asses out of the game. I was just asking about a marketing tactic.

I can't speak for anyone else but I offer a half hour because I have stopped doing massage and about 80% of my regular clients are massage clients who really can't afford more than $200. I don't expect them to upgrade and I would hate for them to feel like they needed to. I <3 my massage clients, they are amazing!!! If they are interested in upgrading to FS sessions I am interested in keeping them :)

Also, I am surprised by your comment btw because I think a lot of ladies look at half hour appointments as icing on the cake, so to speak...they can sneak one into their day when maybe they couldn't for an hour appt (a half hour appt tends to be one shot and does not run over 30min for most whereas a 1hr could run a bit long and could be tiring with lots of play depending on the client).

You make some very good points Katlyn. I found in the past, as an outcall escort, I preferred to stay in one spot so I turned away the 1/2 hrs. (lot of driving for a little bit of sex)

...but, I can see from your point of view how it would be excellent for those who are schooling and working and have the opportunity to fit it in. BTW in the late '90's prices on outcalls were:

1/2 hr 150-180 1 hr 300-350
Doesn't look like they've gone up much.

Yes, I don't think most would do a half hour outcall unless they charged a travel fee. I wouldn't personally unless it was a hotel that was really close to my home.

I am really shocked that almost every SP you go to tries to upsell you to an hour instead of a half hour. What kind of SPs are you seeing? Especially if they are charging $200 for the half & $260 for the full hr. Why would they pressure you to stay for double the time just so they can make only $60 more??

IMO, most SPs charge more per minute on their half hour rates because, regardless of the length of the appt, they are still doing the same amount of work as far as booking the appt, travelling, getting ready, etc, plus they still have to have the same amount of time before & after the appt to get the place & themselves cleaned up & make sure they have time before the next appt, etc. So say all these things tack on an extra hour on each side of an appt, a half hour appt would take them 2&1/2 hrs, & an hour appt would take them 3hrs, so it would not be worth it to charge only half of their one hour rate for the half hr appt.

But personally my half hour rates are not that close to my hour rates, because, like Katlyn, I enjoy half hour appts, for a variety of reasons.

How do your answers even make any sense????
1) you are not a provider so you can't answer this question
2) that is your opinion, which is not based on any facts, plus that was not what the question was asking about AT ALL - let me paraphrase it : has the recent economic downtown affected your "hobbying", ie has it made you decide to change anything about factors like how often you poon, how much you spend on pooning, what ladies you see, the length of your appointments, what price range of SPs you see, what services you buy (massage? FS?),whether you purchase "extras" or give tips, & so on?

MY answer:
1) Yes I have experienced a slight increase in potential clients attempting to bargain, & I have had some cancellations (or shortening of appt times) which the client has attributed to the "economic crisis". These were mostly clients I had never seen before, & some I think were simply using the economic state as an excuse to try to barter. However, it has not affected my income or the number of appts I do whatsoever.

Question #2 asked "Hobbyists, has the crisis effected your hobbying patterns
at all?" My answer was "Not at all."

Question #1 asked "Providers, have you experienced increased bargaining?"
Although i am not a provider i commented "If the crises worsens enuf, prices
will cum down accordingly." Not really an answer, but, whatever.

Maybe that makes more sense to you now ;

I don't get it?

What about her response shows she has accounting skills?

He considers her statement that she has the same income is next to impossible, hence the claim of clever accounting. He seems to think that it would be impossible for her to still have the same number of appts in a month if someone cancels or some who don't even make appts don't want to pay regular rates (note that I don't say they can't afford it: Violet's island rates are lower than most typically complained about. Just that they seem to think that the economic events unfolding give them an excuse to offer less.)

Neither of those things mean that she doesn't continue to book full-paid clients in the time she has available. Why would it? There is always someone waiting to take the place of a cancelled appt or no show. Most sps are unable to see everyone who wants to book an appt.
