Enough time has passed and I have not reviewed her.

I'll call her Jennifer.

It's not her touring or professional name. I don't think it is her real name.

A few weeks ago, I was seeing a favourite for an end of the evening extended booking. Jennifer was staying at a better upscale hotel. I had been to see her earlier in the week and knew where I was going. Jennifer has stayed at this location on previous visits.

Entering I noticed four guys outside the lobby in the in the parking lot. Noticeable because they didn't look like the usual guests at this hotel. I thought no more of it and went to the Jennifer's room.

We were having a glass of wine and talking for the first fifteen minutes and then I took my shower and joined Jennifer on the bed, continuing the wine and conversation and getting more comfortable. That is when the problems started. There was a loud bang on the door and someone rattling the door handle. We were both startled and jumped up thinking someone was trying to enter. We then we hear the hall room door beside us slam. We look through the view hole and there is no one in the hallway. OK, someone with the wrong door? Our security latch is in place. We go back to where we left off. A couple of minutes later the same thing happens again, only it is now the joining door between the two rooms. Same thing again in another minute. Jennifer looks very worried, almost fearful. She tells me she thinks there is another escort in that room with four guys staying in the room with her. Likely the four from the front entrance I thought. I look under the joining door and the next door is wide open so I stuff some towels along our side so they can't do the same. Jennifer is now very nervous and is wondering what she should do. MOVE!! is a great idea. She says she cannot call the front desk and say anything because the next-door group has likely figured out what she is doing and she is worried they would likely out her

The door to the hallway of the other room opens and we hear the people leave. "Now!!" I said, "start packing up, I'll help you." A few moments later we hear a knock at the next door and a pause before it opens. The girl next door has a client. Now we have an even better opportunity to get out.

We finish packing up, check the hallway and it is clear. We head to the front desk. Jennifer is in the lead with her carry-on and purse and I have her suitcase. We hear a door open from behind us at the end of the hallway. She looks over my shoulder and her face is ashen and says that is one of them and he has passed his room and is now following. "Go" I whisper. The exit door at the other end of the hallway opens and a guy heads toward us. “Another one” I ask, she says she doesn’t know. She cuts us through a small side hallway and down an exit into the pool area. Good thinking, lots of people here. We are now close enough to the front desk so we pause to catch our breath. Jennifer will be safe enough to get to the desk on her own, and I suggest we split up, I would take her bag so it doesn't slow her down, exit to the parking lot and meet her when she has a new room. She tells me, "We can't, the guys in the hallway will be there for you." I tell her “I can’t go to the front desk with you and I can run faster scared than most people can angry”. She asks what she should say at the desk, she fears they may evict her or get the cops involved. I tell her to ask the desk person for new room because you are being harassed, don't worry about the rest.

I head across the pool area for an exit.

Sure enough there is a guy down the hall. I head out the exit to my vehicle. He follows. I have made it a practice to carry only my ignition/door key and not the door fob with me when visiting companions, maybe not the best practice tonight. I get to my truck and throw the suitcase it the back. I climb in and the guy stands in front of me. From where I'm parked, I can see into the lobby and the front desk. Jennifer is there. I put the truck in drive and the guy steps aside. I head off the property, going not far. No one follows.

For what seems like forever, I await Jennifer's call. Nothing. Did she get outed and did her worst fear happen and the cops got involved? Finally, she calls and gives me her new room number.

I arrive back in a couple of minutes, taking Jennifer's suitcase through the lobby and proceed to her room. I pass a couple of guys by the drink machine who are talking about the Jets game. No worries with them. I turn down Jennifer's hallway and no one is out, pass her room by a couple of doors, turn around, still no one. I go back to her door. I don't even knock and Jennifer open it.

She gives me a big hug and starts to thank me, I said wait, tell me what happened. Jennifer tells me the front desk was very understanding. They gave her a room far from the previous, and had security escort her through the closed restaurant and kitchen down back halls to this room, she felt like Celine Dion! Jennifer told me that security was coming in a few minutes to see her in her room. I told her good night and I will get on my way. “No, stay,” she said, “I told them you would be here, that I have called a friend who lives in this city to come and see me. They are expecting you to be here.”

Security arrives. She is very polite and understanding of Jennifer's situation. She shows us a photo and asks Jennifer and myself if we recognize this person. We do. It is one of the people from the other room and the hallway. Turns out this group had been abusive of other guests and staff and was already in the process of being tossed. I suspect even if they tried to out Jennifer they wouldn't have given their story much credibility.

We are alone at last and we finally relax. I give Jennifer a big hug and say good night. That's when the shivers start and the tears well up in her eyes and run down her cheeks. She asks me to stay a little longer as she settles down.

No one deserves this. These are brave and special ladies that do this.

Jennifer is a brave and beautiful lady.

Didn't like that the title used 'our'... implying that they're ours? Seriously? Got through like 1/4 of it and before realizing it was just a waste of time.

I will add some context and back story. Jennifer, again not her professional name, is a well reviewed lady who does not frequently tour. She has her own web site and advertises on the boards when on tour.

This was Jennifer's last evening in this city and she was checking out in the morning to return home. The day before, the hotel placed another girl in the room beside Jennifer's.

This other girl had several males staying with her. Two for sure and maybe the four I saw outside the lobby. They would come and go from their room when she had clients meet her.

I'm also a bit confused by this story. Who were those guys anyway? Gang members that were pimping her out? Abusive/wannabe-thug ex-boyfriend and his buddies stalking her? Losers trying to to rob a SP? A bit of context would be nice.
Since Jgg and I are both from Winnipeg I will vouch for him.

First, there are a ton of street gangs who make money by robbing customers. They work with a girl as bait, and either rob the guy as he arrives or bust in once he is undressed. This is well documented, not fiction. One perb member was murdered a couple of years ago. Lots have been assaulted. Those were just board members, who are a small sample of the population.

Second, gangbangers often rob escorts. This is why the no-show bothers escorts so much. The guys book a date, find out where she is, and wait til a customer leaves. The hood rats get more money than robbing a 7-Eleven. If they time it right they can rob both. And get more money by beating the guy's atm pin out of him.

Third, there are a lot of pimped/exploited touring girls travelling through here. I spend a lot of time at the airport, they are easy to spot. The pimps are easy to spot, both appearance and behaviour-wise. A group of us were going for lunch and saw two pimps beating their girls right in the parking lot.

Here is the non TLDR version.

These ladies are often young and away from home. They deal with a lot of cash. They rely on a screening process and intuition that is far from foolproof. They invite total strangers to their rooms when they are most vulnerable. Most of us have no idea what they must tolerate when we leave. I hope that there are only a few of us that don’t care, but that is the reality of society.

We pay our money, we take our chances. The ladies have a considerable more risk.

Think about it next time.

They deserve respect.

I had something similar happen to me a few years back.
I'm not sure if they were there to extract me from my money and beat my PIN numbers out of me, but I'm pretty sure the young lady knew them.....but I can't be sure as it all happened very fast.
To be fair.....my focus was on the two dark skinned guys in the front entry, one holding a baseball bat.
I wiped the smiles from their faces......and still have their baseball bat.

Meth is everywhere in Winnipeg. Users are completely nuts, will kill you for $5, literally.

Here's something that happened to me a few years ago. I was taking night school and doing MMA downtown. Come out of the gym after teaching a kid's class and taking a black belt class. I had my gym bag in one hand and opened my car door with the other. As I was sitting down someone sucker punched me. I saw stars, believe me, it was a good punch! Get out and it was a WOMAN high on something. She swings at me and I punch her right on the nose.

She goes down but gets back up immediately and starts swinging at me and screaming that she hates me. WTF? I'm pretty pissed off and start taking this seriously. She has a guy with her that might shank me, his hand is in his pocket... So I really hit her, hard. I felt her nose breaking. No effect. I knocked her on her ass and she got up like it was nothing. Hit her again, blood all over her face, she doesn't get up so quick.

The young guy she is with says to her "Come on mom, let's go home".

Isn't that sweet, mommy is teaching her boy how to rob people and do car jacks.

Fucking animals preying on decent people. They need to be culled. I was lucky, I have decades of full contact taekwondo and I am over 200 pounds. They could easily have killed someone else.

Glad you got out okay Miss Hunter.

Proof of how bad? A lot of touring ladies skip Winnipeg and go to Brandon instead.

Yes it is going downhill fast, probably past the tipping point.
We have a large and rapidly growing sector of the population that uses most of our ambulance, fire, police and hospital resources but pay no taxes.
More and more - including me - have fled to bedroom communities.
The tax base is borne by less and less people. The city steadily deteriorates and has less money to fix itself.
A vicious circle that cannot go on much longer.

A lot of denial in that article. "Yes there is more crime but really everything is fine..."

Note the police complaining about a 2.45 million dollar budget shortage. Meanwhile they fucked up construction of their own hq and it is about $150 million over budget. That is $150 for every man woman and child in the province. And the bills are not even all in yet. They also built four brand new fortress style district hq's and wrote off six old ones.

Mismanagement galore.

And a few people are making shitloads of cash from it.

And then there is the Museum of Human Rights that is about $400 million. Plus annual operating costs. For a piece of shit altar of political correctness and patronage.

As the OP I didn't name the location that this occurred. It was not YWG or YBR. It was in western Canada east of the Rockies. My work sometimes means a lot of driving, not as much as Keissey does, AND IT WAS NOT HER, so from time to time I will see familiar ladies in other cities. The point is this can happen to anyone any where.
