I still remember seeing this on TV in the early '70s, old sports. :thumb:
There was a news documentary I think it was on 20/20 some 10 years ago. Coke company wanted to find all the original kids from the video and do anew version with them and their children. It's just as amazing.

Amazing what you find when you click one of the suggested You Tube videos. Watch this girl dance.

Glad to see she is wearing no bra in support of breast cancer research!

There's an antiques and collectibles store in Edmonton that sells, among countless other vintage things, vintage Coke bottles (empty) and bottles of Coke that have never been opened (in other words, still contain Coke). Some of them are from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
Thanks for letting me know I will hit it up the next time I am in Edmonton!

When the video was made (1964 - 1965) Liz Derringer would have been making a statement of her freedom to look the way she wanted.

The "proper" bra was like what Patti Page is wearing:

Girls were still not permitted to wear pants or short skirts to school. A girl arrived in a dress or a skirt that covered the knees or she was sent home.

So, it wasn't in support of breast cancer research - - - it was a statement that no man was going to tell her how to dress.

Thought I'd seen everything.

'Parrently not!

Now I gotta try sleeping with images of circle-butt-squirting burning my eye sockets.

Oh thanks for that!

I prefer the taste of Coke Zero rather than regular Coke and if that is not available, then I go with Diet Pepsi, old sports. Have any of you old sports and ladies tried Mexican Coke made with cane sugar and not high-fructose corn syrup?

Being a diabetic I stay with diet Coke. Can't really tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke but seem to always gravitate to Coke.

ohhh i can tell the difference-- coke has a refreshing tang to it ,while pepsi is more spicy
ps i think i heard somewhere of studies showing that aspartame may be WORSE for diabetics than natural sugar
