Never had a problem with clothes months when I lived in Ontario, but they seem to be a big problem out here. I have to buy moth traps and have them out from spring to fall when the windows are open.

I take it the moths are after your woolen clothing?

It is a problem but not something insurmountable to deal with if you are proactive before they start getting in your place.

They do not like Cedar and putting some in the drawer or closet may help.

I was reading that in Australia where they have a large wool industry they are using detergents to wash the wool that the moths dislike. Tea Tree oil and most importantly having a lanolin content. Lanolin makes the fibres larger while traditional soap detergents make the fibres narrower and smooth. Moths like their fibres narrow and smooth apparently.
