OK - let's start with the CBC's lack of condemnation of the 9/11 attacks - now - love or hate the U.S., I think we all agree that killing the people in the towers was uncalled for - unless you support the killing of women and children. The CBC will not call the bastards terrorists -which they are.
They continue to support Carolyn Parish of the Liberals - anyone that supports that twit must lean to the left - and don't use the freedom of speech argument - she has the right to say what she wants, but that does not make it right.
Their coverage of politics in BC - they support the BCTF and if you don't think that is a left wing organization, gimme a break.
....and much of it is subtle, just listen to the way they support the Federal libs and the way they will choose which photos of Martin to use as opposed to the ones they choose of Harper (they are both dorks IMHO).
So, that is about as specific as I can think of at the moment, sorry guys, I don't TiVo the CBC for playback.
Good grief, are you for real?
It's not the role of a TV network news organization to "condemn" anything. It is their job to examine all sides of such a significant event as 9-11 - ALL SIDES, no matter how unpalatable they are (ie. U.S. duplicity in foreign policy and the "chickens come home to roost" theory about 9-11).
Support Carolyn Parrish? Short of the 22 minutes skit, etc, which is not run by CBC news, duh....don't see what you're saying here.
I can't speak for CBC's BC provincial coverage - but to right wing nuts, anytime a news story comes on that doesn't match their outright hatred of unions, it's automatically "supporting" them
As for their choice of video footage, let's just say it's well known in political circles that Harper's communication handlers are idiots, not to mention that Harper himself hates being in public, and is just not comfortable being in the public eye. Funny how he still wants to be Prime Minister, though.
Bottom line is - right wingers hate news coverage that doesn't support their views - and automatically dismiss such coverage as "left wing". Barf.
