lol... wow what drama the last 3 days on the kid Carson show!!!!
Day 1: Female called in about an affair she is having.. with a famous TV personality. The thing is, he is married! The g/f told Kid Carson his name on an off air phone, and all you could hear was OH MY GOD!
The rest of the day they debated whether they should reveal the name of this guy.. voters from all over called. The vote was to tell, but they said they wanted to be sure it was truth so they would wait...
Day 2: WIFE PHONES shes pissed.... she is gonna take a day to decide whether or not she wants to reveal his name on thebeat 94.5. Kid Carson is told he CANNOT reveal the name on the radio.. he gets sneaky and figures, while he cannot, she certainly can!
Day3: 8:15 the name will be revealed!!!! 8:10 comes... it goes 8:15 comes... it goes.. song after song after song.. 20 mins no ads, no sound effects, just song after song...... 8:30
Then Kid Carson comes up apologizing about being off the air, but that he just got out of a meeting, and the bosses ARE NOT HAPPY and a law suit was being threatened.... none of the 3 of the radio personalites seemed happy.. if fact they all seemed like they were about to cry. They obviously got freaked out on... Kid then explains that he will be fired if he (or the wife) says the name or brings this up ever again on the radio. He also said that if he blurted out the name, the 2 women he co-works with will go down with him.. bad news... he mentioned he had a few months left on his contract and made it sound like he will not be back after.. he sorta asked that he could stay tho..

anyway, I am not really into drama stuff, but this has got me hooked... more so because of the VERY strong reaction from the alleged cheater. He is obviously someone who could bring down more than a few peoples lives, so.....

I was listening to that also. I think it's a scam. It's just a ruse to get people to listen. I don't believe it for one second. As *if* someone would call to ask for a request and say all those things. She would not call the wife up and tell her cause it will get the hubby in trouble. The whole thing is a load of crap.

As someone who worked in the radio industry for a while....this has publicity stunt written all over it.

No DJ in a large market, who's been around as much as Carson has, would have done what he did for real. Not if he wanted to keep his job and/or be able to find another one.

I am young .. and I dont know Kid Carson .. I do listen to 94.5 at times.. but I lost you ..when you said ..Day 2 when the wife calls in . how would the wife call in ? what did she have to do with it ..since g/f had not revealed name yet ?
