The Banning of Phoenix

Could it have followed the discussion in the DB thread where Phoenix/sp discussed that he is in retirement now. Mayby it was felt that since he wasn't pooning and he wasn't a sp he ought not to be here? I enjoyed Phoenix and I never knew him to break any rules. I even watched him bring sanity to a few threads that were out of hand and yes his pictures really added. We miss you Phoenix (hope the MOD reads this).

After a long day of airports, car rentals, and hotel check in, I depend on a daily dose of Phoenix to put a smile on my face. In the last two years, i have never read, anything off color, or obnoxious posted by him. Has an explanation been forthcoming from the moderators?

The only one who cries for attention is you. Christ, I don't think you ever post anything that isn't whining, crying, or complaining about something. And yes, I consider Phoenix a friend, and I'd like to know why he got banned. If you don't know what friend is go look it up in a f'ing dictionary. If you have a problem with that ... go fuck yourself ... because I doubt you can find anyone else that would go near enough to you to do it.

Either he's pulling the same unfunny cry for help he did last time or he said something he shouldn't have and since no one ever really gets banned from here permanently either way he'll be back in a couple of days so all you Phoenix sycophants apply some lip balm in preperation of resuming your lip lock on his sac.

I think i was the first to post something in regards to Pheonix in another thread,having noticed he had been banned,,,,anyway...
He was one of the few posters that (IMO)who added a laugh and a sober perspective in his posts,,,,,,guess we'll have to see what happens.

Hey look, if Phoenix did something to get himself banned ... so be it. I would just like to know the reason. In part b/c I like the guy (not sycophantic), in part b/c I didn't see anything particularly outrageous in any of his recent posts. So I'd like to know. I don't see anything wrong with that, and I don't think we need BBS and the like coming on whining and crying and generally denigrating people just because a) they are friends with someone and b) because they're interested in why he got banned.
Yeah ... I actually agree. Phoneix's prank last time wan't his best idea, and I was a little pissed. if he's doing it again, I'll be very pissed. But I don't think so. Could be wrong, but I doubt it. Anyway, I've gone and had a nice single malt and I've calmed down.
Oh and therealrex ... sorry if you didn't think my post was "helpful", but if you'd care to elaborate on how yours was helpful, I'd be very interested.

I usually drink my whisky straight up, with a bit of water (if anything) on the side. But the caffeine in the coke can be a benefit. I used to drink rye and coke b/c it was sweet, but then I used to put sugar in my coffee too when I was young (that was when I was 5 years old -- my mother felt you shouldn't drink coffee black until you were at least 8).
We should start some polls ... favourite rye, favourite single malt, favourite bourban, etc. Craziest drink you've ever concocted!
