The Banning of Phoenix

What up with this? I was reading through the posts here and noticed that Phoenix has been banned . I don't understand why this would happen seeing as he has always been polite and has never been outright ignorant here on the board. There are members here who are far worse and have still got their membership. I personally would like to see Phoenix reinstated here as he is a very well respected member.

I tried sending him a PM, but the message said that he had his PM's turned off, so I don't know what's going on.

Obviously he did something to get banned, or do you believe that can do no wrong? I don't know what exactly happened to get him banned, and I really don't care. I think it's kinda funny actually. I don't know why Magnum and Tom are so mad at me, I said nothing personal against them or Phoenix for that matter. Must be personal I guess.

BBS, it seems a lot of us care. Phoenix is very popular here because he always lightens things up with his humour and, of course, his photo and cartoon collection. We don't need (or want, in most cases), to be serious all the time.

We would like to know why he was banned because, for one thing, if he violated a board rule that we're not familiar with, we could be next. I sent a PM the other night to a member who had posted a review containing a dsecription of lady's tattoo. It could have identified her to those who know her. The reviewer edited his post, but he would probably have been warned at least by a mod if he hadn't, because it would have been a violation of board rules.

There may be other rules that we're unaware of. Another possibility is that it's similar to the fiasco a few weeks ago where several members who use Shaw as their ISP were (mistakenly) banned for multiple identities.

BIGblackstudd..........can't you at least try to be a little nicer, even if you don't like what the guy has to post? Just common curtesy in my own opinion.

Avery has a good point. People on this board would like to know why he has been banned, in case there are some rules that we may innocently be violating, as I am sure was the case with Phoenix.

Hope everything gets cleared up for him. In the meantime, I will sincerely miss the sarcastic jokes and the cartoons.
