saw it a few days ago. really good movie. i was a little unsure how they would give all the characters the right amount of screen time, but they balanced it well. tony stark did carry most of the movie though imo. definitely a solid 8/10 rating. now i can't wait for the dark knight rises!!

I have my reserved-seating ticket for the first show.

Very excited!

How did you see it early, Chuck?

Only Avengers I'm interested in:

starred Dianna Rigg as Emma Peel.. in a tight leather catsuit.... God I'd be her John Steed any day of the week...

+ Plus 1... I have no interest in The Averagers... Dark Knight Rises is the only comic / super hero flick I want to see.

I am looking forward to the avengers more than the batman movie.
I like batman and batman is pretty cool, but the movies... Meh.

Will be seeing this on the opening weekend in 3D. Just like in the comics, meet the characters, test each other out,a mix fight, work as a team with alot of disagreements and finally become a Avengers team to save the world. Can anyone handle 2 more sequels.

Disney lost BIG on " John Carter " and its gonna win BIG on " The Avengers ". Yups! You win some, you lose some. I guess Disney's deep pockets gives them more leverage to take risks. Overall, great decision by Disney to acquire Marvel late 2009.

Apparently it's already hit like 185 million overseas, and has good reviews - trending like 97% at RottenTomatoes

Best opening weekend ever in North American movie history ( US$ 200 M ). The movie is on its way to joining the Billionaire Boys Club. Disney shareholders are :) :) again. Truly MARVEL-OUS. :thumb:

It was "awesome" in the words of my 11 yr old...I liked it too.....the HULK ROCKS.....stay for one more scene after the end credits roll thru....just enough plot to go with the action....and some "fresh" bad guys.

I went to see the movie for my friends kid's birthday party.
Bunch of kids loved it, their parents are ok with it, their grand parents slept through half of it.

I slept about 20minutes ish in the movie.
It was ok movie as long as you expect the movie to have a bunch of plot holes.

I really liked it as well. It seemed like the movie didn't take itself too serious with all the one liners and was just happy being an entertaining flick. Just like in iron man, I think RDJ steals the show. No plans on a new Hulk, but after this movie I think Marvel/Disney should re-consider that. Overall a 9/10 IMO.

The only effect the 3d had was to make the screen dark its crap see it in 2d

I liked it a lot going for it and it toke six action heros to make it work .. The bad guy was a wimp , but then i all ways thought Loki was a sibling coward .

When you look at the charters , Thor and the Hulk are the one with supper powers , the others are only human with supper suits , or enhancements and weapons

I loved how they managed to make the action look so much like the drawings in the comic books , all though it has been a while since I looked at one in depth , I seldom read them just looked at the pictures .. so i am not up on the stories and sarcasm that much . I know the original Hulk , Thor, Fantastic 4, Spider-man Ironman and a few others and Superman , Batman , Ant man ( for some reason i liked wasp lol)and friends from DC.. that is what i read. when i could afford one or read it at the magazine rack while mom was shopping

What made the movies was the good actors.. What annoyed me is the fact that every SF battle movies has to have some winedy snake like machines , Transformer 1,2,3.. the new Battle ship, Avengers,, and how many others...

Disney stock closes yesterday at ALL TIME HIGH. :clap2: Things are looking good with Mickey Mouse with ESPN, ABC, the various Disney theme parks, and Marvel of course giving great returns to shareholders. Probably an Avengers sequel by early 2014. There's still the next Iron Man coming out in the first half of 2013.
