Anyone been recently or know anyone who’s been or is there now? I miss travelling so much and wonder if it’s closer to normal yet.

I am living here now, and due to Covid, I have been stranded here for the last 2.5 years. I will try to fill you in.
They have eased allot of the restrictions here, you don't need a RT-PCR test before you leave, but you need to fill in the Thailand Pass, have $20,000 USD covid medical insurance, but you do have to get one done when you land in Thailand, and spend 1 night in quarantine or until the test results come back, if you are tested positive, then most likely you will have to be quarantine 5-10 days at your expense which could cost you $3,500 CAD. If negative, you can leave and go anywhere, but on day 5 you will have to do a self test, hotel will supply with the test kit, and record it on the Mor Chana app.
As for bars and restaurants, restaurants can stay open until 11pm and serve alcohol, but the entertainment venues are still technically still closed, but some of the bars have gotten around it by serving food. This is a very good facebook page to follow.
